If 70+ million Trump supporters boycotted Amazon, Jeff Bezos would not be as powerful as he is now.

How do we do that when AWS runs 70% of the web, and half or more of computer pedes are locked into the machine by career?

I see a lot of people with this sentiment, but the tentacles of amazon, google, facebook, and microsoft are vast. vaaaast.

You traded one big tech tentacle for another. Again, not everyone even has that option, and even some seemingly third party providers still use AWS (or azure, or google services) underneath.

Hell, just try to convince a client to "not" use google analytics. You won't have a job.

A quick google search puts it at 40%, but I've seen as high as 70%.

Amazon doesn't just do sales. They have a MASSIVE tech foot print that encompasses everything from cloud storage, containerized server hosting, facial recognition, and even a video game engine.

People don't realize. Almost all tech is owned by a very small handful of companies.
