The legislature makes the laws.

The Governor executes/enforces the laws.

The problem with the Consent Decree is that the Governor changed the law himself, which is not his role.

It's like the guy running the drive thru window deciding to change the price of a happy meal. You just can't do that and expect nobody to care about it.

Trump takes a oath to protect the constitution. What can he do... besides court?

He can anticipate the fraud and put assets in place to collect information about the crime as they commit it.

He can use the bully pulpit to inform the American people if there is a big problem that they should be aware of.

The governor did not make this deal. The case he is referring to is a deal the SOS Raffensperger made with democrats in March 2020, which changed our election laws but bypassed GA legislature . the agreement is why absentee ballot signatures were not verified and is why democrats were allowed to cure (fix) absentee ballots after Election Day. Here is the “deal” https://www.dropbox.com/s/fr5xg2jdyimrqa6/SETTLEMENT—GA.pdf?dl=0

This is illegal.

For that reason L. Lin Wood filed this lawsuit:

L. Lin Wood 4:27, 11/13/20 I filed a lawsuit today in federal court in Atlanta to establish that the March 6, 2020 Consent Agreement by the GA Secretary of State rendered UNLAWFUL the 11/3 GA general election.

I am right under established law.

I assume the SOS is part of the Governor's equivalent of a cabinet.

So the SOS operates under the supervision of the Governor.

Sorry, Kemp doesn't walk away from this smelling like a rose.

I didn’t say Kemp is guiltless here; however, the SOS is not chosen by the governor, he is elected.

Kemp has his own skeletons here, his silence on all that is happening here and refusal to call a special session of GA Legislature is what leads me to believe he is complicit. Also, where was Kemp when the SOS was making this shady deal with democrats?

Do we have a link to the Consent agreement text?

Tried to find it on the GA SOS site, no luck and no surprise.

Lin Wood and Georgia state senators agree. PJDT know of what he speaks.

I hope everyone in Georgia is hammering their House Rep and Senator like crazy, demanding censure for the SoS that made partisan deals in violation of the law.

I don't see any threat there.

This is another Article 2 attack against unjust election law changes that circumvent the state legislature.

Wow, deep state, been trying to take down the constitution since 1783. Still ain’t got nothing. Can’t change amendments because states Also have to vote.

So, Trumps case is that any election law changes NOT passed via Georgia (or Pennsylvania) legislature is unconstitutional? Isnt this the same legal approach to PA's election law changes?

Pretty much. Georgia goes down.
