Whatever happens next, the Venezuelans are lost forever as a voting bloc to the Democrats. They are officially the new based Cubans. The Dominicans and Columbians are not far behind. I don't know a lot of Mexicans personally, but friends who do say many of them are realizing what's what.

The only exception to this seems to be, unfortunately, my people, the Puerto Ricans. Probably because the steadying hand of the US has never allowed us to go full socialist utopia meltdown here.
