You should get a response within a week or so. I got this when I wrote an email about 7 months ago and about 7-10 days later, I got a personal response. It was likely NOT written by POTUS, but the fact that I got a personalized response was cool, even if it was from WH staff.
Also, for reference, I have written letters to my Senators and Congressman (All Republicans) about concerns over the election. Not a single response from any of their offices. Not even a blow-off "Thanks for your letter/email" response.
