I thought about doing a post that we should all go on and downvote the anti-trump stuff to oblivion but refuse to give them more traffic than they deserve
Yup, people used to flood out the political stuff when it got too much, but not anymore. Mindlessly scrolling that site used to be relaxing. Now between the constant political crap and the Puckett controversy, I'm hoping everyone abandons it like I have.
I feel the same as a Dutchman. The omnipresent hatred for this man makes me so sad.. and it is what utterly convinced me he must be doing something incredibly right.
It might be a sad thing, but that, and many of the other injustices in the world caused me to explicitly and literally distance myself from those spreading and promoting those untruths, lies, injustices.
I moved to Norway,and despite having been atheist for 34 years, I found Jesus, and I'm looking towards employment that will help me put my skills and talents as a software engineer to use for a company that is trying to improve medical treatment worldwide.
When the world is against you, and everything seems bad; remember... we're good people, doing the right thing, we value justice, we trust in it, we dedicate ourselves to it, and the light that shines from within us and onto us is what seperates us from the chaos, darkness and injustice of the world.
A couple of years ago, I noticed all the anti-vaxxer memes showing up, especially stuff like "Karen and her essential oils."
I knew this was astro-turfing, cause nobody who's making posts on Imgur really cares about that stuff, except for people paid to be there to push an agenda.
Microsoft used to do it a lot, also. When Apple introduced the iPad, within a couple of minutes, there were dozens of professionally done memes circulating, usually comparing them to sanitary napkins.
The left can't meme, but the deep state can.
And none of the "humor" or pics are actually funny or worth looking at. It's all just text, and the mods of those subs are the same people boosting with fake upvotes.
Is because majority of us are banned from speaking on those sites. I can't comment on Youtube, twitter or anywhere so is no point of even going to those sites. I get either outright IP blocked or they shadowban me so nothing I post ever gets seen. It is obvious because not only does nobody like/dislike any of my comments but nobody will even comment on it. Just nothing, if I had an unpopular opinion then I would atleast have some libs shouting me down.
I stopped visiting in early 2017 when the front page was clogged with "sleuths" identifying "Russian hackers" due to the timezone in which certain things occurred... seemingly ignorant of the fact Russia is 1 - 2 hours out of most of Europe and with zero other concrete evidence.
Reddit pretty much lives of of trump. imagine what they would have to do without trump... Write actual interesting and factual posts... So much more work than getting 50 000 likes for sharing a false article about trump.
