In this case it might be. Just due to how large Amazon is. Anyone can use their services and your choices are microsoft azure, google cloud services or Amazon web services. AWS was the first major successful cloud provider so if you're going to run software or services, it's pretty likely you'll use Amazon

I think bezos is scum, but, this is a reach right now. Is it worth investigating? Probably. But this is like saying, "dominion used a corporate gmail account for their internal communications, Goolag is evil!"

** I think the more important aspect of this story is that they have conclusive proof that the tabulators were not only not air-gapped, but that voting data was being sent through the cloud to international servers and common cloud services. Not via a secure government or military intranet.

I don’t think Bezo can go down over this, but it would be hilarious if Trump used his EO to seize all of Bezo’s assets and paid off a hefty chunk of the national debt in one swoop.

Your right this post itself is not proof, but my post proves that this post is true. https://thedonald.win/p/11PpU44mO4/exposed-voting-machines-amazon-c/

I would say that election backend still deserves better security than running an aws instance.

Absolutely agreed. That's the scandal.

And possibly this as well.
