If Amazon staff were actively and knowingly participating, then this is meaningful. Otherwise, I think u/12_more_years and potentially also Linn Wood may be ignorant of the fact that AWS infrastructure is used by over a million companies and business customers as a passive web hosting platform. Specifically, Amazon isn't generally monitoring what people do on AWS infrastructure, they just expose the platform for DIY purposes and of course collect the money.

It would be like saying the Dominion voting machines run Microsoft Windows, therefore Microsoft is a conspirator in some scheme.

WaPo is corrupt fake news and I wouldn't put anything past an unscrupulous leftist billionaire like Bezos. However we will need more than just "running on AWS."

They did not use their own staff. They bought the ip blocks an set up the deal in a way the $109million gets paid out over time and they installed their own people to manage things. See my research: https://thedonald.win/p/11PpU44mO4/exposed-voting-machines-amazon-c/

I think you still don't get the idea of what AWS (Amazon Web Services) is. Some other people and I have been trying to explain it to you. Let me try again.

Maybe this will help: as a professional software developer, when a client wants stuff on the internet, typically one of the first things I do for them is help them set up an AWS account and provision web resources for them. That makes my client one of millions who purchase commodity cloud infrastructure. And Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos almost certainly personally knows nothing about it. Amazon just collects my client's money.

Not every web project benefits from AWS. Some are well served by WordPress or something dinky like that. But custom software development for the cloud is almost always headed for AWS, or Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. There are millions of these projects, and the executives of the respective companies have no idea in general what happens, they just collect the money -- referring to Bezos (AWS), Satya Nadella (Microsoft Azure), and Sundar Pichai (Google Cloud Platform).
