I have no map, one was posted here, showing street closures.
Most of the streets in downtown DC were labelled "closed." My question is, were they blocked off, or was the map a lie?
We have a work-around for searching.

Yes, the streets showed as closed, I think that just meant to cars, because they were all blockaded off.
But beyond that point, you could get walking and subway directions to anyplace within the "closed" area but NOT to Freedom Plaza itself. They removed any option to get directions to the plaza directly. It took me a few minutes to get what was going on. The "get directions" button had simply been removed. Finally I requested directions to the "John Wilson building," (which is on the square) and just like that the "get directions" button was back for that building but still not for the plaza itself.
