That is sad, and very frustrating.

I stand by the belief that it is incumbent upon every American to make their own decisions, based on their own analysis of the evidence and data, and their own beliefs, priorities, and uniqueness of their personal situation.

If someone has a compromised immune system, it may make sense for them to wear a mask or avoid gatherings. It isn't my job to tell them that, and it should not be within the powers of government to force that choice upon them. If we love freedom, we must love the freedom to make our own decisions.

Freedom means someone can walk down the street wearing full biohazard gear and pass a house filled with family and friends enjoying themselves and no one gets upset, arrested, or harassed for their choices.
