Personally we need to do a better job at disarming and taking down. Punches lead to lawsuits even in self defense. Disarm and disengage needs to be a tactic, these people are all weak and you will hurt them severely and possibly result in legal problems after.

Yea no doubt, but the assailant had his left arm neutralized and his right was tracking the other guys hand so he was in no position to counter punch. Situational awareness is key.
