Declare all the big box stores to be "super-spreader sites".

Lockdown would be over day 2 if all govt and school employees required to take a Covid 20% pay cut.

15
PurestEvil 15 points ago +15 / -0

Make it 100%. And make it as temporary as income taxes.

ClownTamer 5 points ago +5 / -0

We could easily have a handful of teachers Zoom teach entire grades across the nation if they want to play that bullshit. We need to stop financially rewarding people for not working. I’m not talking pulling social security from retired folks, or even getting rid of the social safety net. I am talking about treating more things like the private sector so your output directly relates to your financial input. No one whose time is directly tied to their income would put up with this shit.

The only way I can see something like the covid lockdowns being warranted is if it was on par with the virus from The Walking Dead.

SecondProtectsFirst 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nah man, class size is important. It’s still possible to have a personal connection with kids teaching over Zoom. And someone still has to grade the work. Lots of little kids will fail due to the computer illiteracy of their parents alone if we just robo-grade them all and make their parents read them modules. Not fair to the kids in kindergarten and first grade and shit who can barely read let alone navigate an online curriculum.

That said, they’re currently working from like 8am to 11am in my school district and making parents bear the rest of the load. They’re getting a full week or more off for fall, winter, and spring, then a couple months off for summer, and acting like it’s hard work. All while having to talk about “their feelings about everything” during staff meetings, and being told how they can’t teach pilgrims and Indians for thanksgiving because that’s a lie...instead of actually doing any sort of lesson planning.

Source: My wife is a teacher and one of the few based ones left. The main saving grace of this shit is we have gotten to see what kind of indoctrination is really going on now. It’s despicable.

1
ClownTamer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Class size is important when real teaching is occurring. I’m sure there are plenty of based teachers like your wife but at least in my area they spend most of the time giving students play therapy and then 9 hours of busy work. At least here we don’t need most of the teachers if this is how they’re going to teach.

Make it 40%

Pederrr 29 points ago +29 / -0

If the virus is bad, why would we allow reduced hours at these places and close alternatives? The lockdowns just force more people into the same places during fewer hours

Quiet you racist, white supremacist trans AND Islamaphobe! How dare you point out common sense points that make the left's argument look as retarded as it is.

If these people actually steal the election and keep pushing this reset crap lets give em a real reset, but not the reset they want. I hope people are prepared to go without life comforts for a while if they somehow pull this crap off.

I could use a more meaningful life lol.

AngryAsian 12 points ago +12 / -0

Right there with you, we need to mandate patriotic education, English as the national language, and accepting other religions WHILE proclaiming Christianity as the national religion

6
glompywompy 6 points ago +6 / -0

Unless those religions are the antithesis of Christianity. Muslims literally worship Satan (Allah ==Satan) and actively want to kill us, we should have zero tolerance for that. Trey can denounce islam and come over here, but fuck being tolerant to them.

8
AngryAsian 8 points ago +8 / -0

LOL, Islam isn't a religion, it's a psychopathic murder cult

Trump's covid advisor is telling people to "Rise Up" against these. They know they can't stop this tyranny from DC. It has to fall to "the people" to make it stop.

If the big box stores were closed, there would be a ton of people in this country that will have NO IDEA where to get the things they need. I'm totally in favor of this.

My thought is that if you’re armed and ready, you can always roam around and take what you need.

35
DarkSamus61 35 points ago +35 / -0

Especially Amazon since they benefit the most from this.

For people who can't go to DC there should be protests at satellite locations such as big tech, MSM, and corporations that benefit from covid, support censorship, and any other similar issues.

Thing about Amazon is, other than their employees, its pretty much contactless, so not likely they will get shut down. Fits the narrative. Bezos was definitely in on the bat sniffle hoax

8
DarkSamus61 8 points ago +8 / -0

Unfortunately not only does it benefit Bezos and the lot, but a lot of products are also Chinese made so the virus is also benefiting china while amazon's Walmart target and more are the middlemen supporting it.

So this whole thing is unfortunate that it's benefiting the people the most that need it the least. Sure there would a be lot of employees hurt and it sucks but at what cost do we let a virus run our lives.

My wife works in a hospital, if this shit was highly contagious, we’d all be dead...

11
MaxineWaters4Prez 11 points ago +11 / -0

I work in a hospital. We're on a rotation of which staff members have to take hours cuts because it's empty. We've been doing this for MONTHS.

The whole reason for doing this was so hospitals wouldn't get overwhelmed. We'll, we've been underwhelmed since the spring.

4
deleted 4 points ago +4 / -0
3
MaxineWaters4Prez 3 points ago +3 / -0

We didn't do elective surgeries for months. The three ICUs had to merge to two, and the rest of the hospital was closing portions of wings.

Obviously, allowing the big box stores to continue operating Did Not Work. Close them down for eight weeks....during the holidays.

8
800080 8 points ago +8 / -0

Walmart, Costco, and other big companies have more hostages in the form of employees who can't quickly change jobs and can't afford to quit.

This is another demonstration of the lack of logic in the way governments are handing this. If they consistent we'd be completely shut down. Instead it's all half-baked that in a lot of cases makes it worse.

Close the restaurants and stores early? Late eaters have to show up early and be around more people. Just take out? Lines are longer with more people. Shop online? USPS, UPS and Fedex workers could be a larger vector? Limit people in the store? More people close together in lines waiting to get in. A tent with walls and doors is outside, but inside isn't?

I feel the ultimate "red pill" is realizing that we live in a pay to play society. At the end of the day, it all boils down to the almighty dollar.

Why does X do Y? Money. Why does X want to get rid of Y? Money. Why is politician X supporting Y? Money. Why can these big box stores stay open while small businesses close and suffer? You get the idea.

The sad reality is that almost every politician in this country is bought and paid for in some manner. Trump is owned by nobody, hence why they all hate him. They can't throw money at him and get something they want.

6
Cheesecakecrush 6 points ago +6 / -0

Are we going to continue the 'unemployment + extra" stuff then? Cause if not I'd rather work.

NO KIDDING.

How interesting that the big box / lobbyist powers are actually benefitting from this lockdown BS.

Amazon in particular.

Killing small business = Killing America.

And Netflix, Tic Tok, the globalist distraction machines are doing quite well as we struggle to live under the boot of this Covid tyranny.

4
Coopster 4 points ago +4 / -0

I let COSTCO membership expire. Bought some gift cards for the few items that I can't get from other sources, Make a stand.

Working on replacing Walmart (China-Mart) now. It will be more difficult to drop them completely but until then, I,ll buy less. At least, most or their food and produce is made in USA.

Money talks.Anything else is ignored by them. Case in point. NBA. They are dead to me.

2
Rugar22 2 points ago +2 / -0

Support your regional or local grocery stores. Anything is better then Walmart.

4
dakin116 4 points ago +4 / -0

My favorite Covid restriction was herding everyone into one entrance at walmart...genius tier

4
anewpatriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

Oh yeah this would turn everything around for sure. Amazon should get shut down especially too. Make them all suffer so we can have these lock downs go away. I wish we had a based judge in CA to do something like this. Or whoever has the power to force Newsome’s hand.

Normies would be rioting in the streets if they couldn't get to Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Lowes, etc. In many areas of the country, these are the only places that they have to go to.

2
MsQleo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly and how do you think SMB owners that went out of business felt watching people be able to go there but not the their place?

1
Assault-Covfefe 1 point ago +1 / -0

Knowing a few SMB owners, who thankfully have survived so far by the skin of their teeth because of a strong network of dedicated customers, they were beyond pissed. The hypocrisy is just...to much to believe.

2
Rugar22 2 points ago +2 / -0

We really should be more serious about the Walmart boycott. Think about how much of an impact we can make if we could start kicking Walmart out of these rural and small town areas.

2
nachosamplerREBORN 2 points ago +2 / -0

They would just demand stimulus money from crony government and Biden will give it to them, if he has the authority to. They make money regardless and probably more if they can take it from clueless government.
