Parler is pretty new and it’s hard to tell which posters are who they say they are. (I don’t think they have staff devoted to vetting people yet) Who do you know that has moved over to Parker? Or who do you all follow on Parler?

Why do I have to give them my phone number.
This makes me very nervous.
The phone number is a sticking point with me.

I hesitated too!, But I weighed it against how blatantly corrupt Twitter and Facebook has been, just snuffing out truthful posts they don’t like. I’m thinking maybe the phone number is Parler’s frontline to ‘vet’ people since they don’t have the staff or feedback to research folks for real yet. Also they’ve been fairly upfront about their ownership. Like Dan Bongino is going to get a ton of shit if they misuse our phone numbers (not that that stopped other co’s from misusing them). But yes, I hear you and I’m concerned too. I did bite the bullet and give them my number.. so I want to get a good feed going to make it worth the risk I took give them my number.

I guess my problem is that I never did use Twitter or FB. so, I do not feel put upon by the censorship and screwary
