First, I read through the lawsuit which can be downloaded here:

If I follow it correctly, Lin Wood's position is that it is unconstitutional for a state election official, in this case GA Secretary of State (SoS), to modify election procedures set forth by the state's legislature, which the SoS did when he signed a settlement agreement with the state's Democrat party and put into place new rules for how the state was going to handle disputed absentee ballots going forward.
Thing is, the new rules subjected the absentee ballots to more scrutiny, not less, as it required up to 3 election representatives to verify a questionable voter signature. So, all signatures were still being verified.
Lin Wood contends that because state law/procedure was not followed, even though there was more scrutiny of the absentee ballots, it's nonetheless unconstitutional and, thus, GA can't certify it's election results.
This lawsuit seems to address more like a legal technicality to me and not fraudulent or invalid votes. Whereas, POTUS' remark seems to be addressing the GOP being able to do their own observation and verification of the signatures on the absentee ballots, which would require an audit. Right? The lawsuit doesn't ask for that. My question....Aren't they conflicting?
In addition...What happens if GA can't certify their vote? Does it go to their state legislature to decide who gets GA's electoral votes?
