Its definitely a sickness but not as life threatening as its made out to be. Several people around me including my younger brother, got it from others who were actively positive with it (showing symptoms). Most described what I would call your basic flu symptoms of mild fever, body aches, diarrhea, lack of taste/smell and tired. With that being said, this entire lockdown is not justified and a lot of the news surrounding it is just fear porn mixed with a lot of mis and disinformation.
How is that different than any other year’s Coronavirus or Influenza? You just described a seasonal illness as anecdotal “evidence” that COVID-19 is a unique and threatening sickness. Those are my words but that’s the implication of your anecdote.
