All information on someone is additional ammo to perform some malicious activity. As someone who does offensive security for companies, I've used LinkedIn several time to scrape valuable data from employees.

Penetration testing. It's where companies hire us to hack into their systems, steal their data, and trick their employees into giving us access in order to test their security posture.
