Well, if this stuff takes inevitable time, would you rather them be completely silent until they DO have something? If you ask me, that's worse. In that time we will think there's no hope.
Listen, I don’t know what to make of Rudy. Even in his prime he was a bit unstable, a bit off. As for Rudy hyping things, not sure how much was him vs. Bannon vs other players, but the whole laptop from Hell stuff was not handled well. The supposed anti communist Chinese dissidents said a lot of stuff that didn’t really pan out.
And this leads me to perhaps the greatest missed opportunity of the first term. I knew no single man could drain the swamp, but at least some corrupt higher ups could have been held accountable. Jim Comey got let go, big deal. Gets his pension, continues to undermine POTUS. Makes $ off a book. FBI culture at top still sucks. Clinton’s get in 0 trouble for crooked dealings for many years laid out in detail by investigative journalists. Who killed Seth Rich? The Awan brothers? Den. Feinstein employed a Chinese spy. So many top pols made fortunes off corrupt dealings, including the Bidens.
“Because you’d be in jail.” Fun line, still entertaining to many. But here’s the question: who has been held accountable???

I'm wondering the same thing. In fairness to GEOTUS he was constantly on the defensive against false accusations and bogus investigations.
Yes, he faced as much opposition as any president in all of history save atheism first Republican, but at least Lincoln’s enemies were mostly overt.
