My sub closed due to lack of moderation. I had the reddit app on my phone, I had it in my bookmarks bar, and I was into the habit of checking reddit every few hours just to see what's new. It was as normal a habit as any.
Friends: you can kick the habit. Just delete the bookmarks. Just delete the app. It might be hard the first few days but impose your will and remind yourself why you left. Now... I don't even feel it. Reddit is not worth my time, I'm not even curious. They don't deserve your traffic, and they don't deserve your personal info, which is what they really make money of.
You can get your news elsewhere, and nothing beats TDW for camaraderie, so forget Spez and carry on.
