In the UK if you have had a positive wu-flu test and die within 28 days your death can be recorded as the wu-flu on your death certificate, even if you got hit by a bus. There has been a ramp up of testing over the past few months.

Also, the process on how the cause of death is determined was changed. Before an independent doctor had to review and sign off on the case of death (i.e. two doctors had to sign), but this was scraped in March/April. So now only one doctor will determine the case of death with no oversight. Coupled to this is the fact that Doctors can not be charged with malpractice if you die of the wu-flu (also brought in March/April).
