ok in government positions with some tiny power, we have a few house members, even less senators who seem trustworthy. together they have basically no power. in the intelligence agencies, pretty much fuck all. and you kind of NEED at least one intelligence agency to go up against something like this. instead of being on the side of justice, they actively work to cover up crimes though. so you'd rather the FBI NOT be 'investigating' something like this. the fact that they apparently are, is not a good thing. they'll be burying shit for sure. best case scenario with them, all they do is just claim to investigate it so they can then report to the media that there's nothing there. which is pretty fucking bad. because that makes it seem official.
