Many are just running with the herd. They made their bet who would win the culture wars and aligned themselves.
Bwhahaha, suckers! Just because the media said so, right? There's NOT A SINGLE FUCKING TIMELINE in which those whiny little pathetic losers win against red blooded Americans!
So soon enough they'll start to cut their losses.
Tell that to Venezuela, or China, or Taiwan, or North Korea, or Yugoslavia, or all the others. I'm not necessarily a doomer. But this is dire, and pretending it's not is a recipe for disaster.
Maybe we're different... maybe.
Either way, this is our moment. There is no other.
That kind of dismissive attitude is exactly what I'm arguing against. I don't think the majority of them are "running with the herd". I think they know exactly what they're doing. They are running in red states as "Republicans" because they essentially must. But their loyalties and their gamble is with the filth.
They are controlled opposition.
And they are gaming for, and counting on, our loss.
