I am a fan, but not of this quote. I don’t like to think God is sitting by passively while I am being tested. I believe it is God who gives me the strength to endure. I believe it was he responsible for the one set of footsteps as he carries me through the tough times.

But that’s just me. I don’t insist everyone believe the way I do.
