My 80+ year old grandma is on a ventillator in the Grand Rapids/Cadillac Michigan area. They're trying to find her antibodies to start treatment but none of the hospitals they've called have antibodies that come from rare RH- plasma. If anyone with RH- plasma has donated their antibodies recently or will be to any hospital in Michigan, specifically Northern Michigan, I'd appreciate letting me know so that we can try to start antibody treatment on my grandma since she has not been doing very well and we're afraid she will continue declining without antibody treatment.

Thank you in advance!!

Anyone with AB+ blood is also a universal donor for plasma.

You have it backwards. AB+ is universal receiver, O- is the universal donor!

That is for blood, not plasma.

Haha you're right. It's an important distinction that matters here, thanks
