Yeah I understand that argument, but the NBA is also an American institution. Decades of American basketball history, team loyalty, branding, and we are just supposed to hand it all over to China? And then start from scratch with the Chicago Bees and the Houston Rascals? Nah, let China start their own American league with a bunch of fake-sounding teams and stupid uniforms. We should be protecting all of our American institutions from China poaching.
