A few days after the election I called the Nassau County, NY Board Of Elections which is in Long Island, to see if my mail in vote was counted and they said "NO". They assured me it was normal and happens in every election and they don't start counting paper mail in votes until after the election is over. I was promised eventually my vote would be counted.
I was assured that they would get around to it on the 11th or 12th of November since they had millions of ballots they needed to count and it would take a while. WTF?!! That is rediculous. I think I am going to call them again and see if my vote was was finally counted. I bet it was tossed into the garbage.
I would have voted in person, but I have panic disorder and PTSD with severe agoraphobia and can't leave the house.
