California ending up "pink" seems possible IF everyone who opposes the insane leftism did go vote. But if California really ended up DARK red, this would mean that California elections have been COMPLETELY stolen for decades. This would not be surprising because, once DemocRATS gain power, there is no longer "just" moderate fraud.
Once they gain enough power they not only cover for the fraudsters, but the Dems in power "legally" change the rules to make some of the fraud "legal." Under those circumstances, they only gain more and more public offices and gain more and more power.
I just cant see this state being dark red. Pink is a lot more believable. I've been all over California, from north to south and while there are a lot of patriots and a lot of "silent majority" types, there are a ton of lefties as well.

I know what you mean, but I do believe that there are millions of people in CA who don't even vote because we were convinced that it's a pointless effort.
We were made to believe that, if you don't agree with the left, you're screwed and, In most CA districts, your preferred non-DemocRAT candidates just can't win (let alone candidates for statewide offices), so don't even bother trying
On top of that, we know how intolerant the left is; a lot of people just keep quiet or even pretend to agree with the leftist narrative to protect their jobs and their social life.
It's hard to believe, however, that over half of the voting population wants higher taxes, wants an indiscriminate number of illegal aliens and Muslim refugees, wants criminals protected and being released back on the streets, wants men in the women's bathrooms and locker rooms, believes in reparations, wants socialism, free healthcare and college for illegals (when we don't have it), and that they support all of the insane leftist agenda.
Trump's 2016 win showed that voting might be worth it no matter what (even though the DemocRATS fixed that in 2020), and Trump made many Dems wake up.
Still, I can say again that a "pink" CA may be possible, but DARK red very hard to believe is possible, unless we have been fooled for decades and the state was never as blue as we thought it was.
