Think about the further effects of the effort to remove ownership. If you have read Brave New World you will foresee in that the beginnings of not owning people, as in "you are mine," resulting in rental experiences, dehumanization, devaluation. No marriage because people should not own each other.

The stupidity of that country is hilarious. Like the other part of the Four Pests campaign where Mao told everyone to kill all the birds because they were eating their crops. Every peasant patriotically obeyed and ran around slaughtering the birds.

Well then nothing was eating the locusts so they created what I believe was the largest human caused famine in history. We aren't even sure how many people died the number was so absurd.

Good job commies.

_Sully_ 24 points ago +24 / -0

That’s when you realize that the party of science is really the party of ideology over everything else. It makes sense to me why leftist love to use “science” as a cudgel. It can be changed at a whim or just completely ignored because what they call science is actually scientism. A religious ideology that abuses the ignorant with dogma. All they have to say is there is a “study” that shows what they want.

6
Hail_Milo 6 points ago +7 / -1

500 years ago everyone KNEW the world was flat. Some people forget that.

8
_Sully_ 8 points ago +8 / -0

Actually, everyone knew the world was round but some intellectuals decided those people in the past were not as smart as them and must have believed something that the intellectuals thought people must have thought.

This is the nature of intellectualism. It attracts fake intelligent people that have low self-esteem and need to desperately prove that others aren’t as smart as them. Let’s just ignore that such thinking requires a true lack of wisdom because otherwise it wouldn’t matter how smart or dumb other people are, it won’t make you actually smarter or better.

3
Shalomtoyou 3 points ago +3 / -0

And frankly, I would MUCH rather have a neighbor who was a flat-Earther than a commie.

'Build it back better.'

It's the destruction of the four Olds.

Old Ideas, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Customs, it was done by the revolutionary in China during their cultural revolution (brutal take-over).

It's only through struggle, and the destruction of the current system, will the new better (social) system arise in its place -- this is the core belief behind Marxism.

Through the destruction of the old world you create the new social state (new world order, build back better, great leap forward), then through normalization the destruction of the social state (liquidating the rightists, counter revolutionaries and useful idiots) you achieve the Communist sate and create a Communist Constitution that places The Party above all else.

tl:dr total communist word play for cultural revolution through struggle.

I watch his interview 6 years ago and thought it was intresting. I rewatched it a year ago and my jaw dropped when he mentioned social justice by name. I think that interview was from the early 80s.

What i don't get is why did it take so much longer to take hold (demoralize) in America than everywhere else it seems.

10
Scroon 10 points ago +11 / -1

Got to keep in mind that in the 80s, communism already had strongholds in both the USSR and China. Europe was right at their doorstep, and the communists had already been spreading for decades.

America was unique not only because of our historically no-bullshit attitude and Christian values, but because our geographical isolation and sheer size gave us a lot of cultural inertia that the communists had to overcome.

5
prayinpede 5 points ago +6 / -1

Also our country never had nobility/feudalism so one guy based solely on birth didn't magically own all the land. I assume that's why communism spread in areas that, historically, were more autocratic.

2
Scroon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, China is a great example of what you said. The CCP is basically a reinvention of the Chinese Imperial Court.

2
prayinpede 2 points ago +2 / -0

2
cnn_can_dox_my_balls 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fren, I have watched this damn housing market for two decades now. Where it crashed, it didn’t crash hard enough, and where it crashed a little, it never came back. It defies reason. The old saying holds: the markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. Another one also holds: the trend is your friend. Your sister may be in for trouble, but if she is, she can just mail the keys to the bank. “jingle mail” we call it. Besides, at 2.5% interest, everything is a steal.

I still don't understand what they get out of it. People say control, but for what purpose? Most of them at the top already have the money/power to do whatever they want. Attempting to forever control the masses just seems like more work for no real gain.

17
Groupthinkgroupthink 17 points ago +17 / -0

Most of them are at the top of their respective systems, but like America there's rules and regulations by threat of jail, there's limits built into law, however dysfunctional they currently are, someone could enforce them, but they want a system constitutionally without regulation for them.

Secondly, most current systems allow for deviation and change, free thought to to whatever degree it currently allows, the Communist Constitution doesn't allow for deviation or free thought beyond the party, so it keeps their system on rails and is a tool to bludgeon those who oppose The Party will.

“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever.” ― George Orwell

They want the conditions for absolute control, forever.

Power is a drug. Its so addictive that there are those that get addicted without even experiencing it. A tolerance is developed very quickly by the user. More control, more brutality, more fear are needed to keep getting the user high.

Look at these people like junkies and their behavior makes sense. It also makes them more predictable.

At work there's talk of hiring trainees to do the same job I do, since there's more work than I can do myself and the company has to spend big bucks outsourcing.

So once they're trained I might, for the first time in my life, have little minions to outrank.

The thought does not exactly thrill me. I don't even see an appeal in it.

1
subnu 1 point ago +1 / -0

A wise old man once told me, "with great power, comes great responsibility.".

4
Scroon 4 points ago +5 / -1
  1. The reason why they're at the top is because they control the masses.

  2. Fulfilling your god complex is quite the rush.

  3. Ultimately, they know that once the Earth falls under one world government, the bad aliens will finally give us access to their tech in exchange for falling in line with their galactic faction.

2
Ogcarvattack 2 points ago +2 / -0

Michio Kakow said this as well. once we reach civilization level 1 the space homie would come chill. that dirty little satanist. When discovery channel was clearly taken over that was it for me.

3
Scroon 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ha, didn't know he had said that. :) My fringe theory is that all tech species eventually choose between a collective or individualist approach to their existence, and galactic factions fall under this division.

The collectivists want to add to the galactic hive, while the individualists keep them in check, saying that they can't assimilate a species until that species has decided they want it.

It's also against the collective's self-interest to induct a species that hasn't "locked down" its dissenters, because they could end up disrupting the collective unity. And at the same time, the individualists want the species to make the choice for themselves.

2
Roscoe2 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think the alien stuff is a hoax too, that they are trying to prepare humans for when demons are living openly on Earth. AJ says that elites interface with demons to get advanced technology ideas, etc. and I wouldn’t be surprised if the next step was project blue beam like David Icke said.

1
Scroon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Demons definitely. I think it'd be quite the surprise though to find out that both aliens and demons are part of the bigger picture. Like the aliens totally recognize the spiritual dimension and work in parallel with it.

1
Roscoe2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah I think that the “aliens” that everyone says are about to be uncovered are actually demons, but I do think they might make a district nine situation out of it with project blue beam so people will buy into it

The term: "The Great Reset" is terrifying to me.

It reminds me of the dystopian novels I read in my youth; where a group of people - a class of "elites" - decided that the Earth is too overpopulated or had become evil in some way, and felt themselves mandated to wipe out a large portion of the population to solve some perceived problem, like pollution or hunger or overpopulation.

The Earth would then be populated by the "right sort of people" in the "correct numbers"... controlled of course by this group of elites who feel they can decide for everyone else on Earth what is best for the planet and those populating it...

It's a very scary concept, and horrifying to see it actually being enactioned in reality...

26
thewashambro 26 points ago +26 / -0

What are the chances that covid was designed to kill old/sick people, but was accidentally leaked?

19
samgab 19 points ago +19 / -0

Extremely high. I've always believed this to be true, or at least a very high probability.

What do we know about it?

-It was designed in a lab, a chimera hybrid madeup of bits of other viruses.

-It specifically targets the old, the weak, and the very sick.

-Some amoral political leaders view is that the world is overpopulated by humans.

-Those with no conscience view the old and the sick as a huge drain and expense on society. The cost of health care, housing, nursing, medications, emergency care, home care, feeding, clothing, housing, the extremely sick and the very elderly is a huge financial burden on society (in the view of a sociopath with a cold pragmatic view of things, but no empathy).

-A perfect solution in the view of such people would be to spread a specially designed virus, which would spread very easily throughout a human population, and would cause minimal harm to the young and the healthy, the ones who can work and contribute to society, but which would prove fatal to the already sick and old...

-Maybe it wasn't accidentally leaked at all, but was deliberately launched on the world. There are also political advantages to the timing of its release, from the view of a communist leader in, say, China. It would make it very hard for President Trump to get re-elected, for instance...

5
ENTP 5 points ago +5 / -0

Re-elected by a landslide actually. They cheated!

Politics mostly concerns "old water in new jars" . Politicians assemble ideas from what they read. After a while they combine aspects of various themes and consider themselves brilliant for it. Basically they only repeated the thought process the previous idiots followed too. Since they have no knowledge of history, or only highly idealised versions of most, they think their aims are the best for the people [ or they present it as such]. One only has to look at how centrally lead economies failed big time all over the world, throughout history. But capitalism failed also, as we can see by the ongoing 'monetary financing' done in Europe and the USA. So what we see now is covid used as a hinge pin to trigger an economical reset to remove wealth from the middle classes to the "1%" , and end the remains of democracy which have factually been removed with the EU since 1998.

20
NoatakTheWiser 20 points ago +21 / -1

So what we see now is covid used as a hinge pin to trigger an economical reset to remove wealth from the middle classes to the "1%" , and end the remains of democracy which have factually been removed with the EU since 1998.

That will also result in the deaths of millions as they starve with no way to get resources and end up restrained by an increasingly authoritarian government that will punish them for fighting for their freedoms...Fittingly how that's exactly the joys of communism. Fuck these tyrants. We are not letting this happen to our Country.

Capitalism did not fail. Capitalism has been fucked with and sabotaged but it remains the best economic system known to mankind.

2
HillarysBeaverMunch 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agreed, and I insist on calling it by the more accurate term "Free Market Economy", because "capitalism" is a word invented from whole cloth by Karl Marx to demonize those with assets.

2
AcrossTheLake 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sorry. Look at Besos and Soros, Gates etc etc. The sytem failed because these people did not pay taxes anywhere and suck people dry.

3
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 3 points ago +3 / -0

Crony capitalism is a corrupt, bastardized form of capitalism. Like I said, capitalism has been fucked with and sabotaged, with the government artificially selecting winners and losers. It remains the best system and I'm willing to fight to protect it, because the alternative is communism, and I have no interest in living in a post-constitutional United States.

2
Dallasguy 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's not capitalism, that's cronyism. A properly-run congress would break those companies up before they amass that much power.

While I agree with you overall, I'd argue that capitalism hasn't failed because by it's very nature, 'monetary financing' is about as UN-capitalistic as you can get. Any 'failure' is due to unwarranted meddling by socialist politicians that puts the brakes on capitalism's inbuilt tendency to self-correct any problems (ie. banks with irresponsible lending practices going bankrupt).

They are MARXISTS and I am saying that for 4 years now. Marxists have infiltrated Western Society at basically all institutions to a deep level. Yes, even the US election system, obviously.

We’re all going to the Island

The irony of it is that Taiwan is the true successor to the Chinese empire, only because they preserved many cultural treasures and traditions that otherwise would have been purged in the Cultural Revolution. It was the Taiwanese strait and the island known as Formosa that saved the Chinese nationalists from total annihilation by the communists.

If you're interested, there's a Youtuber called serpentza who explores Chinese culture in great detail, and often touches on the topic of how communism has eroded Chinese culture. This video here in particular explores the difference between Taiwan and PRC.

Has anyone asked them what we're supposed to be "resetting" to? Serious question. What supposed golden age are they referring to? Bet they have no answer to that.

It's stunning to me the lack of historical knowledge the general public has. They call people nazis and have no idea what a nazi is. They have no idea how evil communism is and it killed 100 million people. Yet they want to adopt it. Very sad.

That's why the Leftists stop teaching history and classical literature and smeared them as "racist" and "colonialist" so no one else would teach them either. They thought if they didn't mention it in a class room, no one would pick up a book on their own.

God is tempering us preparing us to do what we will all be called to do....Call it Communism socialism or whatever it's Satanism at it's center becouse at it's center is the rejection of all the good God has set in place an Inversion and perversion of everything...

Stop being conservatives and start being Right, Right for God, Right for Country, Right for Family Right for all that is Rightouse and set in that place eternally by our Father in Heaven ..

There is no more ground to give the wicked and corrupt they will not allow us to keep to our ways if we just let them keep to theirs... To make peace with evil is to make a mockery of God..

Conservatism is dead becouse their is nothing left to conserve either we fight to take ground to take a Nation under God our we Perish... Resolve yourself to this now so that when you hear the call you will be ready...

A propaganda video posted by the World Economic Forum, then deleted because its totalitarian agenda was too transparent.

Meat will be only a rare treat, to combat climate change, according to the video. What they really meant was something like:

"Doctors will discover the amazing nutritional benefits of a steady diet of roots, bark, and leaves. Leather shoes will be only a rare treat, to combat climate change."

What they really meant was "soy has been proven to demolish testosterone" and that "a vegan diet increases anxiety and diminishes mental fluidity."

Source: was a vegan three years. I finally quit because my mental and physical health was on the edge of collapse. Most people who tell you they are vegan are NOT vegan. They are eating eggs, butter, fish, etc. I was the vegan who wouldn't eat a CROISSANT if I was starving because it had "evil" butter. But it turns out that you can't opt into veganism for moral reasons. It's not optional to skip meat and animal byproducts. The human body cannot manage it. I'm a woman and it was bad for me. Veganism was far far worse for my husband. Eventually we came to our senses and did some digging. MSM tries to hide the research that shows how unhealthy veganism is but it's out there.

NostalgicFuturist 2 points ago +2 / -0

Maybe the vegan thing has its source in the Hippie movement. (It goes back further than that, but not as a widespread fad among the young.)

A lot of people got high not just on weed but on the moral thrill of not eating animal products. Even Hindu-style (not Christian!) fasting was a thing with some New Age extremists. (I'm an old ex-Hippie myself, but a carnivore.)

Jainism is even more extreme when it comes to basically starving as a form of religious virtue. (Gandhi was raised a Jainist, I seem to remember.)

A Pede here recently commented that a long-term effect of veganism is that people don't age well. Short term, the minerals and vitamins are great, they give your skin a healthy glow. But over the years your body basically starts eating itself for lack of essential animal fats and proteins. Thirty years down the line you look sickly and downright skeletal.

I don't know that this is true, I'm just relaying what a fellow Pede said here recently. I think she may also be an ex-vegan.

UnderCoverTrumper [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, I think that was already happening to us. We weren't digesting well and my brain felt like it was moving through jello while attempting to process thoughts.

1
NostalgicFuturist 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yikes! By the way, I expressed myself carelessly. Some people do turn vegan because they like feeling morally superior. Others do it out of sincere moral principle, and I assume you're one of them--after all, you're a Pede!

2
UnderCoverTrumper [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh you are so thoughtful! Don't worry, it didn't even occur to me to be offended! :) I think I mainly did it because I was misled by a lot of things I really believed in at the time (leftest ideology, ect). Growing up, I idolized books and worshipped at the altar of academia. In college I just absolutely drank it all in as immortal truth. Took me awhile to readjust from that. But realizing veganism wasn't even biologically possible was a big red pill.

2
NostalgicFuturist 2 points ago +2 / -0

I went through the same drive-through brainwash. I was even in a Marxist literary group at one point. It wasn't just Marxism, it was also my fellow Marxists that drove me away. As Hayek pointed out, half of what makes socialism so toxic is the toxic personality types it attracts.
