I know. I hope Rush makes it to see Trump win a second term and further solidify this nation as a CONSTITUTIONAL republic. Rush is a national treasure.

Did Rush announce his last episode?

44
1777 44 points ago +47 / -3 (edited)

No, but he had treatment yesterday recently. He has been very open about his treatments and this is longest time off after a treatment he has taken.

38
Jas11 38 points ago +38 / -0

Mark said Rush moved back his treatment so he could be on air during the debates and election, so that’s why it seems like he’s been off air / in treatment for awhile.

36
Mrsattorney 36 points ago +36 / -0

I think he had the treatment last week. He hasn't given up...he's still in the fight.

11
haljordan2814 11 points ago +12 / -1

This is not the longest he's taken off for treatment, what the hell are you talking about?

9
HockeyMom4Trump 9 points ago +9 / -0

Exactly. He has only been off about a week. He was on air last Monday.

“For treatment”? No one said that. He delayed treatment to cover the election. Treatment, cover election, treatment. The length of time is the delay from one treatment until the next.

3
freedom2520 3 points ago +3 / -0

Rush was on air last Monday, and he's basically done one week on, one week off the entire time

-3
watchman87 -3 points ago +6 / -9

i bet that was one of his last treatments. he doesn't have much more time is my guess. id be surprised if he makes it to 2022

Giving a prognosis via anon internet boards. Thanks for the deep insight. Not only do you not treat Rush, but 99% certain you have zero medical training let alone in oncology. Thanks for sharing this useless comment.

Honestly I bet he does the show until he physically can't. I can't see him sheduling (not sp) a hiatus to prepare for white shores.

The only worthy successors for his style are Ken Matthews and Todd Herman. They’re genuine thinkers with a deep contempt for liberal bullshit. Every day when Rush’s show ends, I follow it with a Ken Matthews chaser.

Tucker has zero principles. That’s what I’ve learned.

For months, he cried that Biden/Harris would be the end of our republic...now he says go sniff pine trees...it’s no big deal? What a douchebag. I regret wasting many hours of my life listening to him proselytize.

It was right at the beginning of one of the shows in the second half of last week. If you pull up old episodes on youtube you won't miss it if you check the first couple of minutes. He literally started with "there is so much going on right now that it's hard to keep up, therefore we decided to take a step back (ignore it all) and look at the beauty of America. It was absolutely surreal and went on for 20 minutes.

I feel this in my bones. I never would think I could care so deeply for someone I’ve never met.

6
tombombadil 6 points ago +6 / -0

I wasn’t able to listen yesterday. What happened?

My radio station recently started playing some sentimental ads thanking Rush for all that he has done over the years. My guess is that he has announced privately that he won’t be broadcasting in 2021. New Years is usually when radio stations make changes.

5
glow-operator-2-0 5 points ago +5 / -0

Goddamn. So we're losing Savage (good riddance) and Limbaugh?

Levin and Shapiro will be the only ones left (aside from Armstrong and Getty) on the radio. Wonder who they'll fill those time slots with.

3
watchman87 3 points ago +3 / -0

you could always tell he was so jealous of Rush

2
tombombadil 2 points ago +2 / -0

He’s jealous of everyone. I stopped listening to him in 2017 because he was so spiteful of everyone, even fans who would call in to the show. I think it’s pretty obvious that he has serious mental issues. Which is ironic because he is constantly making fun of people with mental health issues.

1
ShalomRPh 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn't he supposed to be some kind of a doctor in real life? Epidemiologist, if I remember correctly.

1
tombombadil 1 point ago +1 / -0

No!! He is not a medical doctor but pretends that he is as qualified as one. He has a PhD in nutritional ethnomedicine. All that means is that he spent a ton of time researching natural things that certain cultures use as medicine. A lot of it is pseudoscientific crap. He has zero medical background but gets the title of doctor because he spent a lot of time in college.

51
BrianSolo 51 points ago +51 / -0

Oh wow you’re basically once of the youngest Reagan conservatives

40
TownesVanCamp 40 points ago +42 / -2

Yes, I am. I have a Bob dole T-shirt from his run at the White House.

However, I voted Bush in 2000, abstained from voting in ‘04. ‘08 and ‘12 saw my vote go to Ron Paul. The rest has been all MAGA. I do hope like hell for a ‘24 Rand Paul /Kristi Noem ticket. Rand Paul libertarianism Paired up with her royal hotness is an unbeatable pair. Besides seeing democrat brains melt when republicans elect the first female to office will be an awful lot of fun.

2
borscht-nazi 2 points ago +4 / -2

Idk, man, maybe because I spent most my life in Silicon Valley I don't see my generation this way, but most of the rural folk of our age is pretty based. After all, this generation or not, there are tens of millions of Trump supporters.

4
TownesVanCamp 4 points ago +4 / -0

I am rural. Or was, graduated high school with 43 kids. I am not exaggerating when I say it took every 18 year old kid in 4 towns and a 20 mile radius to get to 43 kids.

I thought our generation was doomed

If I ever wanted to know what was going on in the world, I knew I could turn on Rush and he would give me the truth. Where else can we get that? He is an amazing American and has done so much to further freedom in our nation by single-handedly towing the true conservative line for years until others showed up

Me too friend. I used to live in cali and when I was just a small pepe they had him on this the car. This was probably 87-88' at the latest. He has been a cornerstone of intelligent political thought for my entire life. Im so sad considering a world that doesn't have his presence in it.

17
TownesVanCamp 17 points ago +18 / -1

It really does make me a bit sad. I don’t fawn over celebrity, the vast majority of us here don’t. But when you’ve heard a voice nearly every day for 30 years, it will be hard not hearing it. We owe much to him.

7
probablyacoincidence 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yea and hes always been different. He never was a celebrity out in the world. He has the huge personality on the radio but kept to himself otherwise for the most part. He wasn't out there whoring himself out to everyone with a video camera and a microphone. Plus the insane sense of humor, Mick calling in from the high mountains of New Mexico, the roadkill Cafe. The whole feminazi gag, the man was brilliant and yet relatable.

12

He may be suffering - but at this point he can have confidence that the plug of the swamp has been pulled, and his life's dream of restoring the republic is all but certain. That's an incredible achievement that he's worked hard towards and hung on doggedly to see. If death is merely a transition to the kingdom of God, then for Rush its only going to get better from here.

5
Vox_Dobad 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm so glad Trump presented him with the Medal of Freedom. He deserved it. And anyone who listens knows that Rush was very moved by it

My most fervent wish is to invalidate every liberal's most fervent wish.

Step 1: First invalidate their camouflage and college recruitment, by not using marxist FDR's redefining "Liberal/liberalism" to give cover for his marxism.

Call them what they are, marxists and marxism. Don't give them cover, don't let them hide in the 20th & 21st century behind a noble word of the 18th & 19th Centuries.

Words' Lives Matter. Marxists steal words by inverting definitions 180 degrees. Aside from destroying logic functions, by them doing this it prevents us from even having a conversation about how to stop them.

Since October of 1990, my weekdays at noon have always known "Greetings to you conversationalists all across the fruited plain. It is, the doctor of democracy, the Maha Rushie, Rush Limbaugh here on the EIB Network. The phone number is 1800 282-2882". Yes, WIlliam F Buckley may be considered the father of American Conservatism but Rush brought it to the masses and made it understandable and validated that the guy on Main Street had the same conservatism as some intellectual university professor type. In fact, Rush may well have proved it was the working class guy whose conservatism was the "Real America". I sincerely hope Rush is still with us when President Trump finally puts the dagger into the heart of the Establishment and regains the electoral win the swamp tried to steal from him.

A_whole_nother_thing 22 points ago +23 / -1

OMG I hope not. I would love to see Steyn take over.

5
nanowerx 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, Steyn is the guy for sure. He is a great stand-in host every time he is on.

14
ConsrvspkgNJ 14 points ago +14 / -0

We can talk about replacements and all that but the fact is, the minute Rush goes to be with The Lord, the EIB Network is a memory. Mark Steyn is delightful and a wonderful fill-in host but he is not Rush. Ben Shapiro, I don't know why but I'm not a fan. I mean, if you are a long time fan you know the whole EIB Network thing started out as a sort of goof because of this whole "you have to be a network" thing. I seriously doubt the EIB Network continues very long without Rush at the helm. I remember back in the late 90's early 2000's, I thought EIB was going to become a sort of minor leagues/training ground for up and coming talk show hosts to gain experience under someone like Rush. I thought EIB would become a network that would gain airtime on radio stations and grow "the brand". Nope, EIB has always been and will always be Rush Limbaugh.

7
generated_name 7 points ago +8 / -1

That's insane. Especially when you've got so many other better choices. Mark Levin comes to mind. He's no Rush, but he's infinitely better than Ben Shapiro. Ben doesn't talk to people, he talks down to them.

He did treatment last week. So That's good. He hasn't been told there is nothing that can be done. He put off treatment for the election and week after. This round has been rough on him and he didn't come back yesterday, as he was supposed to.

24
Pandas4Trump 24 points ago +24 / -0

Short term outlook is significantly better, but his chances of a home run outright cure are stagnant. Stuck on 2nd base with no outs is the analogy I believe he used

This protocol has helped people hold up thru traditional treatment, and has worked for many stand alone.

13
Scrub_Anon [S] 13 points ago +14 / -1

Fan mail was sent out to his fans asking for their greatest memory of Rush. Things don't sound good for him.

6
axrevolutionai 6 points ago +6 / -0

Better than expected but not good at all. I'm hoping Trump wins and comes in with a last second right to try gamble. Something huge. Then the liberals can Reeeeeee Trump actually did cure cancer

18
grndmrshlgando 18 points ago +19 / -1

I wonder if there is a correlation between what is happening now and trump being the only president in the past 80 years to not get us involved in a foreign war. new world order is real we can see that now.

5
NOTWOKE 5 points ago +6 / -1

Sure can see it clearly. No more denials. And the betrayals that have been done to our country by our very own countrymen is a hard pill to swallow. It’s happening under our noses. The swamp is deep and our elected officials from both parties are filthy. God I wish term limits is something we could somehow effect. But I’m sure it’s long to late for that to matter any longer.

Would be utterly tragic to see Biden go to war. Guy would declare war off a teleprompter and forget which country he declared.

Sadly, the Swamp will not be drained completely when President Trump is out of office. Hopefully we can setup candidates for after him.

8

I've always wondered..When the young angry liberals celebrate Rush's death, what old liberal will silence them and tell them Rush has done more for Americans than any one man could? I feel like you're in complete denial if you don't acknowledge it.

8
crammer 8 points ago +8 / -0

I was thinking this last night. I pray that this specimen of manliness lives long enough to see TD tear down the machine that Rush has been fighting against his entire career. It would truly be a beautiful gift from 45 on Rush's way out the door.

When people are dying, a lot of times when there is something that keeps them fighting they will make it to that point and then pass soon after.

I am really hoping this is the case for Rush because I know nothing would make him happier than to go out knowing the country is safe, and he'll be able to rest easy.

Rush, your contributions to this country will never be forgotten.

7
JacketlessJimJordan 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ok, I don’t want to imagine him leaving us, but he eventually will, either by this dreadful disease or maybe not for another two decades from natural causes. I’m curious what the replacement plan is. They can’t keep calling it the Rush Limbaugh show, but it MUST continue.

Among his guest hosts, who do you think is most equipped to carry the torch?

9
Fffffffff 9 points ago +9 / -0

Mark Stein only one I can stand and agree with

2
Herecomedatpresident 2 points ago +2 / -0

i mean maybe they COULD call it the rush limbaugh show... i dunno why not? And yes I hope Mark Steyn is the replacement. I don't know if anyone here listens to Howie Carr, I'm in Boston and he's local but he's on Newsmax too now. He has a different style, much snarkier but he has the same intelligence and overall positivity (obviously no one is as positive as Rush).

Light one up for Rush frens! Truly a great American. Still remember witnessing my first taste of pc wokeness in sports when they chased him out of covering the NFL. All because he spoke his mind.

Wish you the best Rush! Stay strong!

I just recorded an emotional goodbye Rush I love you video for his website.

Now he's on and yelling like there's no cancer.

I am so content right now, plus he's railing on my SHIT-ASS governor Inslee cuck.

8
grndmrshlgando 8 points ago +8 / -0

its unreal just how much corruption there is in the government. it feels like most of it actually is corrupt which begs the question what purpose does it serve the people?

4
RabidZoo 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's certainly rampant throughout at all levels. In regards to the question you pose...from my perspective...that they're there to serve themselves with whatever they want off of our hard work...with ZERO CONSEQUENCE. Good thing we have President Trump in our corner.

4
grndmrshlgando 4 points ago +5 / -1

all we have is trump. and if he fails, things are going to get really damn ugly and not just in this country. I'm not taking a vaccine so they can track me. go ahead and take my job then, I'll be occupying my time with something else, not in minecraft.

1
RabidZoo 1 point ago +2 / -1

Oh hell no. No vaccine. No RFID chip. You hear about the "dark winter" Biden is talking about? It was an exercise in 2001...right before 9/11...unironically called 'Operation Dark Winter'. If you want to take a look this will help get you started...

2

Russia has always been a larp, it was an expedient way of calling Trump illegitimate. China has always been an enemy not just if US but the world. This is the country the globalists use as a model for the New World Order.
