At least 4 to seven thousand would be my guess, but it has been a while since I have had body work done, so with all of the sensors, etc. on cars now, it could be a hell of lot more.
The car is a total loss. Engine cradle is bent, entire left front suspension is roasted, the front unibody structure probably needs some significant work, and the left fender was pushed into the left front door so much that he had to kinda force the door open. Not good news for that liberal.
Haha. Living in Silicon Valley I get “your hands aren’t all soft like those guys who sit and type on a computer all day.” And it has worked out well. Haven’t settled down yet but working on it. Part of working on it is moving out of Silicon Valley.
It depends on the insurer. I've bought some salvaged cars from Copart. Liberty Mutual loves to total everything and anything for next to nothing. I bought a 2008 Focus (Fully Loaded) from them for $225 plus auction fees. Needed a tie rod, and it has a dented fender. That's literally all that's wrong with it
Thats all before the auto-tragic screaming and that one loud pop. Only a few things make a trans do that instantly and its not because the linkage got tweaked.
Front left knee, radiator condensor core, sub frame,, headlight fender lining, fender, door skin probably needs a little work uni body is probably warped looks like a cheaper car so probably/hopfuly totalled
I hope it isn’t totaled. I hope they fix it so that is 95% right and that the 5% that is wrong haunts that fuckers ass for years as he has to constantly get alignments and has to buy new tires.
I've rebuild some salvage cars from Copart. This one's pretty bad. Fenders and bumpers are things that you can get from a junkyard really cheaply. But, the way the suspension is messed up (Tire looks pushed back to me) and the fact that it could have bent the subframe or unibody means that the chances that someone buys this car to even rebuild it from salvage aren't certain. This thing may be taking a ride to the local pick and pull
Nevermind the car, the city is going to need a structural engineer to come out and determine if the lamp post is repairable. Along with a union electrician, a flag man, a full crane team and possibly a street repair team if it is deemed unsafe. That's going to be $10k+
look at the way the back of the car bounces in the air, i bet the unibody/frame itself is a little warped now. Only thing that could have made this better was an airbag deployment.
Agreed: Work for a more suburban municipal utility and infrastructure damage gets expensive quickly. Also; we have nothing close to that in terms of fancy/decorative in our system so $10K is probably conservative..haha!
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
HONK, HONK
^car pun 😇
Great Scott!
We just witnessed the peak and subsequent death of a meme!!
No but foreal though, I think I detect a heartbeat and the meme seems to have survived, but just barely.

Hunter, go home. You’re drunk.
This whole event is very heart-warming.

YES! Karma at its finest!!
*bad carma
Needs a "Bump" 👍
I'll let myself out
The damage must have been bad if the wheels refuse to turn after that crash!
What kind of damage and cost we are looking at here?
At least 4 to seven thousand would be my guess, but it has been a while since I have had body work done, so with all of the sensors, etc. on cars now, it could be a hell of lot more.
Those sensors are very expensive to replace.
VERY.
I just needed to have reliable transportation, not the Star Ship Enterprise.
Sensors are expensive. Common sense is irreplaceable
Fucking tell me about it, I just want to say fuck it all and get about 3-4 grand and just go buy an older early 2000's car.
And lets not forget what the city is going to make him pay for damaging that post!
I hit a raccoon with the same area of my car. It did $1700.00 worth of damage. I bet this one is totaled.
(Dad joke incoming!)
$1700 worth of damage...
Expensive raccoon but what about the car??
Wow. All that from a coon, although some of them ARE huge.

You mechanic. Probably don’t have college debt either. Maybe even have nice size guns 💪🏽 to mechanic with. Rough work hands? purrrrrr

This man revenges.
This guy knows revenge!

plus CV joint, rocker arm
I just include it with the knee

That’s a hefty price tag for a bit of saliva spent and a cowardly escape
...a botched cowardly escape, at that. 👍
Wow! I hope the libtard gets saddled with the bill!

Oh ... AIRBAG sensors .... do you have them ?
You don't need airbags when you're wearing your MASK!!!!
STAY HOME SAVE LIVES!

10k? Maybe 10k an hour.
With mandatory 4 day union work weeks. So they might be done by mid summer.
I'd like to be a fly on the wall for that phone call to the insurance adjuster.
Okay sir so what happened.....
Being a faggot must not be cheap.
u/0561 I can see it now. "It'S DrUmPfS fAuLt"
Hopefully there's no active coverage.
A lot of people in democrat cities stop paying premiums once they get an insurance card. Or they never had insurance in the first place.
Collision with road
Talk shit get hit

You gotta ride a motorcycle. Ijust know it.
That's wild. How did you guess? I don't all the time, but do own three of them.
