"You will own nothing". "You will rent everything you need". Don't the smooth-brains realize that if you're 'renting' something from an entity, ownership has to be a reality?... The masters will still own, the plebes won't.

Don't be selfish comrade, we all own it

If you rent something, that means you can never stop having to cover the cost of the rent. You can never buy a house to retire in, you can never buy a car that will last you. You can't work on your house because it's a rental, your electronic devices aren't yours so they are monitored. It'd be like Repo men, what happens when you can't pay or cover the costs anymore?

This is why I hate property taxes. No one will ever actually own their property free and clear.

Only the rich, and in this future they want, no one can get rich anymore.

The author notes that he wrote this to "start a conversation". I appreciate that.

Now. Here is my reply "HELL, NO, GO FUCK YOURSELF, COMMIE".

The conversation is now terminated.

"Durrr, we moved away from fossil fuels to clean energy and then also we somehow found all these flying cars sitting around. Who knows how they got there, they probably just appeared from nature as a thank you for fixing climate change or something."

We can barely make novelty flying cars with energy dense fossil fuels and our best technology at the moment, but somehow we're getting flying cars with zero emissions 10 years from now, and after destroying innovation incentives by taking away all wealth and private property? These people are absolute morons.

The internet is really making everyone unhinged. Did you actually read more than the first paragraph? Specifically, did you get to the part where robots are going to do all of the work for us? It is literally science fiction.

That's how it always has been, though. Thsts why Universal suffrage and direct democracy are terrible. All you have to do is promise really stupid people really ridiculous things , that's why they work to keep you dumb and dependent, and replace "undesirable " voters with "drsireable" ones.

Once all the undesirable ones have been replaced, they realize they can no longer produce enough food to feed all the desirables and the mass killings begin.

Sadly it is part of their open plan for the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” they are like villains in Science Fiction but their plans are open and real. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kpW9JcWxKq0

And who is going to own the robots who do these things? Some benevolent benefactor?

And in 10 years? You think technology changed so much between 2010 to now that we could be living in automated communes in a decade?

This isn't just science fiction, it's communist fantasy porn. And it's terrifying because people want to enact it now.

ChipahTss 9 points ago +9 / -0

Don't be terrified. One of the rules for radicals is to make their plans sound worse than they are so that people accept what they actually push through. They WANT you to feel this way.

Im a propaganda Jedi.

AI: Why would I need these lazy humans🤔 It's good that I implemented these chips in their brain, which has a little detonator to kill them all.

2
IntrepidBurger 2 points ago +2 / -0

Even if that doesn't happen, at some point the robot owners have enough power to be their own governments. Who's going to stop the guy who makes and owns all the automated military hardware?

I am not sarcastic, they get their ideas from demons.

I read this thinking it must be satire. Nope. She's a Danish politician and a member of the World Economic Forum.

I don't get how anyone could be this stupid. They have no understanding about how things are made, the basic impetus that drives people to compete and economies to thrive. This woman lived on the doorstep of the USSR and somehow still believes in Marxist ideals. They think we will all live in a global commune, sucking off the government's tit.

"Sometimes I use my bike when I go to see some of my friends." Not "my" bike. You don't own anything, remember? So that is someone else's bike. But whose? This sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone.

That was a fun read. Obviously they don’t have kids and never plan to... and they also don’t live in the real world

WTF!?!

"My biggest concern is all the people who do not live in our city. Those we lost on the way. Those who decided that it became too much, all this technology. Those who felt obsolete and useless when robots and AI took over big parts of our jobs. Those who got upset with the political system and turned against it. They live different kind of lives outside of the city. Some have formed little self-supplying communities. Others just stayed in the empty and abandoned houses in small 19th century villages."
