He has no choice. One of my law professors shared a few filings from the case - most of his lawyers abandoned the case while stating that the sole remaining lawyer and the newly added one were both ready to handle the case.
The next day, the new lawyer moved for a continuance to postpone today's hearing. The judge said no, directly stating "Counsel is expected to be prepared for this hearing."
That quote is a stinger, so Rudy is coming in to save face, as far as I can tell.
This case doesn't involve dominion claims, so I'm not sure this is the end-all be-all case.
There’s been some changes in terms of which lawyers are going to be representing Trump over the last 12 hours so who knows. Better Giuliani is involved than not, I’d say.
I love Rudy but are we sure he is the best guy to argue the case? Yes in the past he was a great prosecutor, but is he the same guy as back then? Forgive me for my concern.
He’s the guy saying he has evidence that 600,000+ PA ballots are illegal and will be thrown out...
I’m keeping my hopes high but expectations low to be honest as I don’t wanna be disappointed.
Time will tell.
I know he said he has the evidence but he still needs to present the case in a convince way. Just hope he still has the chops to do so. My expectations are low. In my mind Biden is president in January unless something happens. Better to be mentally ready for it.
Does he want to be directly involved? Or is he getting involved because he has no choice?

So Rudy is coming in to help the new lawyers out?
Rudy is coming in to verbally present the case to the judge and answer the judge's questions on the case today.
I am not sure if he will be doing anything further with this particular case after that.
Gotcha. Let’s hope Rudy still has his chops.
