On that, I find it deceptive that a body calling itself 'elections canada' overwhelmingly doesn't actually manage elections in canada.. for which voting machines are actually used.. but manage federal elections only. The name Election Canada (oversees all aspects of federal elections nationwide) is the same structure as numerous federal government agencies, ie: Parks Canada (manages national parks, not provincial or municipal), Employment Canada (delves in employment and unemployment affairs such as unemployment insurance nationally), Revenue Canada (don't think any description required - revenuers), Transport Canada, etc, etc. The use of 'Canada' is not meant to be deceptive but simply to convey it's a national agency VS provincial, county or municipal.
