If they expelled the kids who had no intention of learning they could work with the rest of the kids. Firing teachers with no intention of teaching would help too, but I have to salute them for going to a war zone daily. Most, if they are like teachers in inner city I know have advanced TDS though and can't figure out the schools are made worse by bad policies more than lack of funds (which are siphoned off by corrupt democrats).
But if principals could act like CEO’s fire teachers not doing the job or not following the game plan, hire those that do, expel and bar the kids that are a plague (sorry, this is true, some kids are so bad they infect others). AND on top of restructuring how schools run, tie welfare money to truancy. Want to punish the parents for being failures? Take away their free money because their kids are complete dicks.
No, the suburban parents wouldn't riot, they'd vote out the existing school board, run for seats themselves, get involved in school PTA meetings and school board meetings, ask hard questions and demand better results. Because they actually give a shit about their kids enough to do something about making sure they get an education.
