Full disclaimer: I am now heavily invested AGAINST Twitter stock. I'm pissed at Twitter's blatant "only 2% of tweets" censorship of America's POTUS and I see nothing but bad things for them in the future. I am betting that Trump will be declared winner (by a LANDSLIDE) for the 2020 elections and investors will exit the social networking stocks as fast as they can in fear of retribution by the POTUS as well as legal challenges to their section 230 protections, followed by endless civil rights infringement lawsuits by individuals.
The "buzz" about Parler is now very real threat to Twitter's dominance.
When Donald Trump is confirmed the winner, I see nothing but losses of user base and revenues for Twitter in the future.
NOTE: This is not investment advice. You are responsible for your own due diligence. Investors should only invest in or against a company if you fully understand, as a result of your own knowledge and due diligence or as a result of consultation with your legal and/or financial advisers, the risks involved in an investment, divestment, or counter-investment in companies like Twitter (which I am personally betting a crap ton of money that they will be held accountable for their treatment of their users).
I'm totally fine with switching, but many of the people who are updating us on what's going on post a lot more on Twitter than on these alternative venues.
They won't update a 100% peanut gallery of bluechecks that mock everything they post. They won't update if they don't have an audience of ANY supporters.
They know where Parler is.
If we all leave, I think POTUS will follow. A lot of good people already on Parler.
BTW....
Did @JamesOKeefeIII ever get HIS bluecheck??
Nah, I guess Twitter can't confirm who he is or something?
Fuck Twitter, but here's why Parler is going to screw you next:
Parler makes you agree to:
1.) "Parler may remove any content and terminate your access to the Services at any time and for any reason or no reason... Parler is free to remove content and terminate your access to the Services even where the Guidelines have been followed."
So much for "all speech except illegal speech" (*illegal speech is a joke btw, and a true sign you live under a tyranny).
2.) "You agree to arbitrate any dispute that you have with Parler."
You're signing your ability away to sue for anything (ie. Parler defaming you as a reason for banning you)
3.) "You agree that you will not participate in a class action claim against Parler."
Ditto to #2, except if you're not rich and you group up with other non-rich people to sue, you'll still have to go through arbitration
4.) Item 17 in their TOS allows them to change any and all terms at any time without notifying users.
5.) Some services require a SSN (Item 6 in their TOS)
6.) They require a phone number for sign-up.
7.) All content is hidden behind a login wall
8.) You have to provide a photo of your driver's license and a selfie in order to direct message others.
If they were committed to free speech it would be in their TOS. It isn't. Ergo they don't give a shit about free speech, they're just pretending to in order to get users to migrate from Twitter.
let their stock TANK

Just deleted Twitter. On Parler and getting WeMe set up to delete FB.
