I hate to say it, but you can never have enough.

Remember reloading helps defray costs but at the present time supplies are hard to get... brass, primers etc... I just paid way too much for a couple thousand 55.6... 75 cents a round or so.

Are you able to defend various vantage points at once? Only takes 2-3 people to overtake a position. Throw in a molotov here and there and you could get overrun pretty quickly. Then that attackers get your shit, like an ammo dump. Set up defense's. 1,000 rounds is the go to but if you start going through that more than likely you'll be overrun. Access your situation thoroughly.

Dependson the level of SHTF and scenario.

If you have a lot of property and plan to hunker down fortress style, as much as you can buy.

If you live in a city and likely will wind up moving about, as much as you can carry without weighing you down.

I personally thought better of stockpiling thousands and thousands of rounds. If I do have to move around, I wont be able to carry it all though I could have a stash if I operate in a 'zone'.

I do live in a small town though, and its likely that we would have a full blown militia and community to operate with, so I did buy more than I can carry but not a ridiculous amount. Enough to be a contributing and productive part of the team, but not be a fortress of lead.

Yeah I'm rural so I'm in a good position. Have some communities nearby so that's a benefit.

You should never tell federal agents your serious and a threat. Joking or not they may take it serious and then the left can say SEE they admit being a threat. Better yet... you're probably a LARP

Well I've never said anything threatening so I think its obviously a joke. Especially given it's a picture of a cute cat.
