I was thinking about trying to build a repo to house meme pieces, like an asset library. Imgflip is usually my resource.

The reasoning is that I suck at drawing and illustrating. But I can take meme bits with transparencies and make something out of them. Someone had made a post with the golf cart over a transparency and i thought "yes!, i need to grab some pepe faces and do the same".

I was thinking about taking Rockwell's "Freedom from want" and putting pepe faces on all the happy family and then stick some wojak/npcs outside of the window.

If i don't find one, i'll try start creating one. Pepe faces, wojacks, geotus, and a few other categories.

Even better would be to use tools like Inkscape and Blender to do these. I'll see if I can find the tutorial on how to set up blender for those.

Until then consider the need for watermarks and should it be tdw or communuties.win?

A great host that is here with updates is https://maga.host. Still need a few other watermarkless hosts so our own can be added.

For now i'm going to try the KISS method. I agree on using inkscape/blender/gimp for such things. Photoshop can get messy.

tutorials are helpful. I know there was a big meme workshop push in stickies a couple of months back, much of this may have been covered.

Watermarking/etc. i'd leave that to other pedes. I personally feel the message is its own watermark, but folks can do their own thing.

The big reason why I want to use blender for SVG is as far as I know, Inkscape still doesn't let you connect more than 2 "lines" to a "node" (blender would call these edges and vertices respectfully). The next reason is it would totally be worth a day to learn the basics of grease pencil if only to use it for gifs. Alas it's far down on my list of studies at the moment.

Is anyone out there using blender to make memes, svgs, and gifs? Help us please!

You can pull lots of useful formats and wojacks from KnowYourMeme, they actually do a good job of indexing stuff ngl.

Thank you, will check it out!

I think the real issue will be mobility. If i try to anonymously host it on a CDN it will probably get taken down. Do the hip kids still use torrents to disseminate such things?

indeed. worse off i'll have to do it in GIMP because I'm sure Adobe will somehow know which licensed copy of photoshop i used to produce it. Even if i kill the exif.
