It is true, war is good for the economy. But I don’t want to hear that argument out of the mouths of the same people who crucify Trump for “sacrificing American lives to open up the economy.”

Digging holes and filling them up is "good for the economy". There is more to the economy than GDP. Especially if it is wasted on the wrong things.

War is not good for the economy. It creates massive debt. Always has.

We gotta have SOME reason to print that hyper inflated money. What are you, a commie? Luv dem Ruskies?

We should print enough money to pay off our national debt and then convert to the gold standard.

Just be awesome at making cool shit people want then jobs and sales will follow. No lost lives, no endless hatred for our country around the world. Thats the way.

"productivity" ought to be the yardstick, not just "activity". After all, we have "consultants" paid millions to give a single speech.

They only say war is good because it isnt them who has to fight it, it never is,

Right, pretty sure we could have used that $8T here somewhere.

Like space programs. Every $1 spent up there, we get a minimum of $7 in return. You know what else will piss you off, the amount of money that we "donated" to Africa could have paid for a complete Mars program. Not only going there, but setting up a lunar base to launch from and have a colony on Mars itself. But no, we have to keep throwing money at a problem thinking it will fix it when the only thing that can fix it, is itself.

The amount of money wasted on the "war on terror" could have done the same thing and more.

The money “donated to Africa” is simply laundered back to mega corps, bureaucrats, and their families under the guise of charity or invested to destabilize or overrule national or regional policy.

But no, we have to keep throwing money at a problem thinking it will fix

If you think that's the real motivation, you haven't been paying attention.

All $8T went exactly where it was supposed to go -- into the pockets of the international bankers who control the government debt, which the wars create. The government (both parties) stopped working for the people on the day the Fed was created, over 100 years ago.

More people need to know this. I recommend "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin.

how do you defeat the international bankers? The Bakers can magically create wealth out of nothing.

Could have probably had a base on Mars by now

Wars good for certain segments of the economy sure. And only if you win.

Not every country can dick down everyone else on a whim.

War is great ALWAYS no matter who wins, if you loan money to both sides and make both sign agreements to repay their own debts plus those of the loser, if they win.

Yes like I said, for certain segments of the population. Tell post world war 1 Germany that war was good for their economy.
