You seem to be under the impression that the US can be isolationist again just like in the good old days. Well guess what, we can't. The world is to small to have that mentality. And a stronger Iran = a Stronger China. And a strong China is bad for America.
We are in another Cold War, and the sooner we realize that the better. China is the enemy and they are allied to Iran. Iran exports oil and other raw materials to China which fuels China's industry.
Wouldn’t letting Iran take over and having them expending all of their resources and the lives of their soldiers fighting an insurgency in these countries make them weaker? Us doing it has definitely made us weaker.
So we should let them carry out their genocide and then at the end when their resources are spread thin swoop in and take over the entire region and populate it with Christians who aren’t pieces of shit.

No it wouldn't, because unlike us, Iran doesn't give a shit about human rights and will massacre entire populations if they rebel.
