If you even want to look at it that way, less people go out at night. I know I personally sometimes go shopping around 11pm just so there is no crowds, as my local grocery store is open until midnight.

Now they’re going to force everyone to only be able to do things within a certain time?

Same here in Michigan. Pre-virus I'd always go grocery shopping between 11pm and 2am because it was empty and I could take my time. Since the first day of lockdown, all stores are required closed by 9pm. I now see more people in one visit to the grocery store than I did for an entire year pre-virus.

They used to use the excuse that the restock employees would work at night and avoid people, but every visit I go for the last 4ish months, they have full staff working during the day to keep goods on the shelves.
