McCain would have been humiliated had he chosen someone else (Songbird said he wanted Joe Lieberman before he kicked the bucket).
What liberal trash did to her is as disgusting as it gets. I get political attacks ... They happen during elections. If you don't have thick skin, you aren't cut out for running for political office. Also, the winner usually gets maligned once seated (unless they're Democrat of course), but the loser is usually left alone afterwards.
They didn't stop on election day with Palin, however, despite being on the losing end of the election. Some "journalists" stalked her for God's sake!!! They filed bullshit lawsuits against her in Alaska that basically forced her to resign since she couldn't afford to fight back (thanks GOP for helping out you cunts). They were fucking TERRIFIED of her. It seems like Premier Obama gave the order to destroy her at all costs.

Finally, she deserves recognition for starting the revival of traditional American vales across the entire country. She noticed the importance of growing the electoral map for Republicans in rust belt states (of course Steve Scalise, an abject failure of a human being to say nothing about his record of failure in his career, shot that brilliant idea down). Moreover, through all of that, she never frigging went hiding from these scumbags ... She fought back each and every step of the way.

One of the biggest things I remember from the 2008 election was how every article about Obama was a fawning embarrassment but every article about Sarah Palin was unfairly critical. Made me suspicious of Obama.

I don't think the McCain camp reckoned she would be as popular as she was. I remember her speech at the RNC--she blew everyone's socks off. Almost instantaneously the vilest attacks against her started by the left, all the way up to Obama. Remember "lipstick on a pig"? Since McCain clearly planned to take a dive in the election, his team had to start undermining her too.
When I was in the military, serving at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, Sarah Palin was asked to come and give a speech to officially send us off to Iraq. I was part of the security detail awaiting her to arrive to the post’s main HQ building, where she would be giving more private remarks to the local FRG chapter. I remember her armored limousine pulling up and her getting out of the car. She was stunningly beautiful. She had confidence me swagger. The whole experience was fantastic.
