Been sitting on this idea for a while now, (along with a couple others)
EDIT: Don't want to hear about the USPS's version, I already am aware of it. After all this, are you really going to trust them?
Legitimately asking, as I've never done anything like this before when it comes to acting on ideas I've had and starting to make them a reality. Any constructive input is appreciated.
Thanks in advance
USPS has a patent. Seems solid.
Patent don't mean shit really.

Pretty interesting idea.
Been reading it, it's them scanning qrc codes and then putting that stuff on the blockchain. My idea is very different.

Could you elaborate a little more?
it's a book
Thanks, I'll look into that.
Just needed a little more context.
Research the projects already working on this concept
Build a solid team (preferably people with solid resumes). Create a proof of concept. Create a GoFundMe or similar if you do not have access to private investors.
Remember, investors want to know how your product is going to bring them a return on their investment. They aren’t in it to make elections more secure. They’re in it for the money and your product needs to have a way to monetize.
Yea that's kind of where we're at right now, we need funding to get to proof of concept. It's a struggle to take an idea into reality.
I've got the monetization down, it's just implementation past that.
If you don’t have money, that’s where the team comes in. You need people to provide the sweat equity to get it off the ground in exchange for shares in the company. If it’s a digital product, what do you need money for?
Do you have a budget put together? How much investment is needed, where is the money allocated (equipment, labor, etc.), how much will it cost to get to POC, How much will it cost to complete a final product. I’m not asking for you to answer these questions here but you should have all of that information ready for a potential investor.
Those people typically want money for their efforts haha...
I work for a small tech company/MSSP (somewhat of a startup, tech side knows their shit really well) And from conversations we've had in the past, he roughly said ~250k - 1mill should get POC and implementation. Pretty big range I know, but I'm trying to get him to narrow things down.
Boss man doesn't really want to work on it unless he's getting paid, and I don't blame him for that.
Interesting. You’d have to make sure there is no way of fudging with the block chain though.
Yea, that's been the difficult part, as well as implementation would only work WITH voter ID states. I want it to be secure and LEGIT. Sick of this shit that's been happening, and this goes back to before 2018 that I've been "sitting" on this.
Think my first idea for it was post 2016 election, but not sure. I was more happy that Hillary didn't get office, otherwise I know myself and several other people would have "disappeared" to CIA black sites within weeks of her inauguration.
And any state/county that doesn't want it clearly wouldn't want transparency with their voting.
