The United States are the Greatest Nation ever, there can be no doubt about that. But her elections are absolute third-world shit-tier level. Nearly every nation on Earth with a literacy of more than 60% has a better system in place. What a disgrace.
Let's be real, it wouldn't be this way if our politicians didn't want it this way. There's certainly a large degree of incompetence in our government, but a larger degree of malice and lust for power, and that's what scares me the most.
