Surgical masks block 4%.

N95 block 95% of particles.

Study somehow comes to the conclusion that cloth masks should be worn when nothing else is available, but the numbers dont support that.

Moisture retention, reuse of cloth masks and poor filtration may result in increased risk of infection. Further research is needed to inform the widespread use of cloth masks globally. However, as a precautionary measure, cloth masks should not be recommended for HCWs, particularly in high-risk situations, and guidelines need to be updated.”

Burqa use linked to increased risk of respiratory infections

“It is customary in clinical practice and elsewhere to put on a mask for protection against infection, dust, and so forth. The veil, which is traditionally worn by women in many Muslim countries, especially in Saudi Arabia, may have a similar effect. The study was carried out during 1998-1999 in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. Adult women were asked to answer a structured questionnaire related to the occurrence of respiratory tract problems and about veil wearing. Veil wearing was practiced by 58% of the sample. Respiratory infections and asthma were significantly more common in veils users (p < 0.00001 and p < 0.0003, respectively). This unexpected finding was probably secondary to infection.”

They call us conspiracy theorists, but think that every single country for the last 25 years worked together to hide how effective masks are at stopping flus. Peer reviewing and replicating the results over and over again, all as a ruse to keep people dying from the flu or something.

Even Alex Jones would look at them funny for that.
