POTUS reminds me very much of Teddy Roosevelt. He's shaking up the establishment and isn't afraid to speak his mind no matter who mocks him for it. Roosevelt was so much for draining the swamp he even went so far as to establish his own political party to rival the GOP and the Demonrats. Unfortunately this fractured the electoral college between three parties handing the Demonrat Woodruff Wilson the presidency. Unlike Roosevelt, Trump was smart enough to realize you have to work inside the political duopoly in order to get the support needed to build momentum for change (Based Rand Paul also clearly realizes this because he runs as GOP instead of Libertarian).
Speaking of based Roosevelt, one historian made the argument that WWII may have never happened had Roosevelt won the election against Wilson whose bizarre ideas delayed the U.S. entry into WWI and getting us the treaty of Versailles leading to the absolute devastation that created the perfect storm for the rise of Nazism and Communism.
Rand Paul is going to succeed Trump if Trump gets re-elected. Rand has been in his corner working with Trump on tax reform, medical reform, taking the troops home, etc. Rand brought Trump to a funeral of 2 slain soldiers who died in Afghanistan. The funeral moved Trump to a degree according to Rand. Rand has played golf with him the most out of any politician since Trump was elected. Rand has also sat with Sidney Powell regarding General Flynn, not sure what they talked about but Rand is THE GUY after Trump.

If Paul ever believed in that, he did a complete 180 when he found out about all the drugs that came from the other side of the border.
