So is the kraken fixing the election or is soros computer... I hate cryptic shit.

62
Isaiah53 [S] 62 points ago +62 / -0

It's a f*ing mess of a spider's web.

The more you dig, the more convoluted it gets, in part due to the "Confidential" nature of many of the government contracts, which require FOIAs.

Help dig!

Who? Qanon? Or the 8chan guy? I've honestly always though the qanon bullshit was some AI that was trying to learn and spouting out predictions. But it didn't account for so many people being assholes so it's not always right.

Peter Thiel owns part of this, I think.

20
Isaiah53 [S] 20 points ago +20 / -0

Yep.

Part.

But a much smaller share than Soros, by about 100x.

18
thunderpussy 18 points ago +18 / -0

Palantir is one creepy outfit......predictive policing and all that jazz.

15
Blurpy 15 points ago +15 / -0

The software reportedly found Bin Laden. It mines data from everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE, and collates it, analyzes it, looking for known associates, etc. Phone numbers, Garmin GPS, Mail scans, radio transmissions, Internet purchase orders, Fedex tracking numbers, FitBit info, Internet histories, medical data, prescriptions, etc... I mean EVERYTHING.

It has its uses, and it isn't going away, but it is creepy. Information is a weapon, as we all know by now.

9
thunderpussy 9 points ago +9 / -0

This is one of the reasons that I decided to leave tech, and retire early. I didn't like the direction and vibe that the industry started to go in.

It's a decision I have never regretted.

4
DoMagnum 4 points ago +4 / -0

Probably does it's voodoo on all of our posts to the comment threads, all of them. I'm waiting for a knock on my door now.

8
DrDoom 8 points ago +8 / -0

It’s really more for intel fusion. Let’s you create entities and relationships about people and organizations with other types of intel attached to it.

Biggest benefit is that it feeds other kinetic systems.

Not that scary, just useful. Also I can confirm that people who mess with this stuff take American civil liberties very seriously.

I'm not sure where you got the information that Soros owns 100x more shares of Palantir than Thiel, but you're way off base. Thiel and the funds he runs registered 62 million shares for sale in advance of the IPO, and that represents a relatively modest percentage of his total Palantir holdings.

1
Isaiah53 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Read included articles in the thread.

3
tonysoprano 3 points ago +3 / -0

There's nothing in any of the articles posted in this thread that suggests Soros owns 100x more shares of PLTR than its founder and chairman, Thiel.

Because he doesn't.

2
QuantumReality 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well reread it, and imagine it says soros owns 100x shares of thiel. Words can identify as other words

1
tonysoprano 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ah, that explains everything!

24
Winston 24 points ago +24 / -0

Palantir loves Truth.

And Trump.

And Soros has no control.

30
Isaiah53 [S] 30 points ago +30 / -0

They literally compile all of the fake covid data that is keeping us in lockdown.

And Soros is currently the 2nd largest shareholder, as of the last week.

But now he wants to back out, doing almost a 180.

22
Savy1 22 points ago +22 / -0

It doesn’t matter, Soros has no control over Palantir. The Founders had it drawn up when they went public that they maintain control even if they only own 1 share in the company.

14
Isaiah53 [S] 14 points ago +14 / -0

Which may be why Soros & Loeb are not happy, and plan to mass-dump the stock.

11
HatnNewLognReqs 11 points ago +11 / -0

Time to make money on the shorts

6
Blurpy 6 points ago +6 / -0

They would have known that going in, it was public knowledge in their filings when they went public. I think it is a big story if true - it means Soros knows Trump is there for 4 more years, after todays court proceedings.

11
Isaiah53 [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

I think that Soros wanted access to what was/is inside Kraken.

7
Blurpy 7 points ago +7 / -0

Access, he probably already has through deep state minions, but control and ownership, that's his jam.

7
Isaiah53 [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

I would have to agree.

But he and Loeb are quickly bailing.

What did Trump or someone in his admin do to cause this? (He owns the dems and all of Europe, so it wasn't them.)

1
RagnarD 1 point ago +1 / -0

If Soros dumps stock, couldn't that adversely affect Palantir's stock price and potentially damage the company?

14
ninjacomments 14 points ago +14 / -0

I bet if it was involved, it’s going to get ‘blocked’ like that executive order said. His 175mil stake in that computer are belong to us.

21
thekindlyman555 21 points ago +21 / -0

Seriously, who names their company Palantir? Doesn't exactly have good connotations to name your company after an evil crystal ball used by Sarumon in Lord of the Rings.

29
Isaiah53 [S] 29 points ago +29 / -0

Who names their "free voting" company, "Dominion"?

13
thekindlyman555 13 points ago +13 / -0

At least Dominion is a slightly more innocuous name. Naming your company Palantir is like naming your company Weyland-Yutani or Umbrella Corporation.

3
catvideos3 3 points ago +3 / -0

Umbrella Corporation has a nice ring to it.

2

16
Keln 16 points ago +16 / -0

I mean, technically the Palantir stones weren't "evil". They were just tools. When Sauron got his hands on one, they became a tool for evil. The company Palantir and their supercomputers can be seen in the same way. Can be used for good or evil.

Palantir used to store INTELLIGENCE REPORTS WORLDWIDE FOR THE US MILTARY. Thanks to GEOTUS, this is now a DOD proprietary software.

5
Isaiah53 [S] 5 points ago +6 / -1

Yeah?

Then how did Soros buy the company's 2nd largest share?

3
kingkongdong 3 points ago +3 / -0

Those shares were bought before the company went public. More like a series or angel investment in exchange for equity. Probably at a time when they were still building the tech and didn't have customers yet.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-17/soros-says-it-wouldn-t-invest-in-palantir-today-given-choice

13
LostMyOriginal 13 points ago +13 / -0

Fuck.... it's not just Soros. Third point are some shady fuckers too.

Like, the worst of the worst among activist investors.

They buy up a significant percentage of stock in a company and force the company into unfavorable deals through political machinations and back room deals.

Take a look at Dow Chemicals and Du Ponts recent merge and split with each other. The saudi Aramco joint venture. It's all shady business meant to line someone else's pockets...

10
Isaiah53 [S] 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yeah.. that's Loeb, Soros' minion.

When you see these two guys working together, something VERY SHADY is going on.

Dan Loeb is the other investor who went in with Soros on the Palantir massive stock purchases.

Loeb describes himself as an "activist investor". He's worth more than $2 billion, net.

What Sidney mentioned and what Soros is doing may have nothing to do with each other, at all.

But this does NOT in any way discount from the fact that Soros bought into the Kung Flu contact tracing supercomputer not long ago, and is now panic selling.

Why?

Wtf is going on?

Why did Palantir's stock price quadruple overnight?

9
Isaiah53 [S] 9 points ago +10 / -1

Yah, that "decommissioned" computer.

Which, in one of the links I posted, admits that it is being used to contact trace everyone.

5

4
RC22 4 points ago +4 / -0

Decommissioned sounds like the Military is done using it, but like a ship it still floats

4
wernerziegler 4 points ago +4 / -0

It was originally in use at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Perhaps decommissioned supercomputers are sold? ORNL frequently gets new supercomputers. They have at least one exascale supercomputer being and due in 2021.

1
RC22 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks

3
QueenMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

I believe Peter Theil is also tied to it. I remember that when I was looking at their stock

Edit: they just went public September 30

4
Isaiah53 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep.

It's a lot more convoluted than that, but you have some of the basics down.

Keep digging...it just gets weirder.

3
Kilroy83mikey 3 points ago +3 / -0

30 Billion versus 300 Million. Soros only has a 1% stake.

3
UhtredRagnarok 3 points ago +7 / -4

It's going to get seized based on Trump EO from 2018. This is why he wants to sell. He recognises it as a financial consequence of that EO.

5
Isaiah53 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think Soros either got the voter data he wanted access to, or he couldn't get it.

Either way, the usefulness of the company is moot for him now.

There are two faster supercomputers on earth now that he can use to manipulate the stock markets.

Maybe the name lead is a hint from God to pay attention.

2
wernerziegler 2 points ago +2 / -0

The Kraken Cray XT5 was decommissioned at ORNL on April 30, 2014.

https://www.nics.tennessee.edu/kraken-retrospective

Unless it was taken over by someone else, I don't think we're going down the right path.

2
Isaiah53 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Decommissioned, my butt.

Read the articles.

It is the 3rd fastest supercomputer in the world, and Soros recently invested in it. And it is currently, among other things, being used to contact trace everyone for kung flu.

2

Where the fuck is our well regulated militia?!?!?

1
Immafancyboy 1 point ago +1 / -0

He’s trying to crash the price, rich people who also happen to be psychopaths do some version of this all the time. It’s a version of short-selling. It probably won’t work.

1
Isaiah53 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

He didn't short sell.

He bought 18.5 million naked shares.

1
Immafancyboy 1 point ago +1 / -0

“...But suddenly wants to sell”

If you buy a bunch of stock, hold it for a minute, sell most/all of it, you can trigger a sell off or at the very least create instability. It’s a rouse

2
Isaiah53 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

The stock price just about doubled, without apparent cause, right after he bought, which looks like market manipulation Step 1.

Second, the supercomputer running Palentir's software, Kraken, was previously used by Obama to spy on every foreign office on earth, as well as all of the USA. He got caught. (Merkel pitched a fit, if you recall.)

The software on this computer was developed to track and store every electronic exchange on earth, including cell phone call voices.

What if Kraken has a copy of the voting data? And phone calls to Dominion?

And Soros & Loeb wanted access to it?

1
Isaiah53 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think Kraken recorded those.

That's what it was built to do.

So how do you get access? Buy the biggest controlling share in the company.
