FLIR can't see through walls. In fact, it can't even see through regular glass, which is why they have to make the lenses of FLIR cameras out of a special material (Germaniun IIRC). Thermal is not some all powerful "x-ray" vision that the propagandists like to pretend it is. In fact most of the "x-ray" vision equipment out there (at least what's remotely portable) uses frequencies in the range of radio waves to microwaves, not x-rays, due to the fact that x-rays have wavelengths smaller than the gaps between atoms in practically all materials, at least those made out of proper atoms.
Edit: x-ray machines in hospitals use actual x-rays, but the way they "see" is more like looking at a "shadow" than a reflection. If you look at an x-ray of a coin, you can see both sides simultaneously because of the "shadow."
Black out the windows
Exactly what I was thinking. Evil like this knows no bounds.
