The thing is most of us are waiting until the point that when we finally snap - and what we do when we snap - will look like fair play, and not scorched earth. Because we are going to go scorched earth, but we have to allow history to see what we did was fair and not be exactly what the left accused us of.
That's not how this works. You stop worrying what they think at all, right now. Their accusations and opinions have zero value. Zero. They want you and your children dead. What people think is fair is insignificant in comparison to that threat.
