George Washington was involved in the early formation of the corrupt Federal Government. He was part of that system.
I mean, there are a lot of things that turned into something shitty years after the founders leave/die. Look at Walmart. When Sam Walton ran the place it wasn't a terrible place to work. He and his wife died, and now you have to use your vacation hours to get paid holidays.
I don't blame Tim Pool for the shitty place Vice is in today any more than I blame Washington for the shitty government.
My step father did the floors for Walmart as a contractor. One night while he was waxing, an old guy started walking on the floor, and my step-falther told him to get off "his" floor.
The old guy did, and talked to my step-fathers boss and got him a raise. That old guy was Sam Walton.
There were some old-timers in my Sam's Club who had 25-30 years of employment. They had so many benefits that they'd been grandfathered into. Time and a half every Sunday, Double overtime, extra paid holidays, better insurance, longer vacation, gained stock faster, etc.
He tells me that the company respected it's people back then, but now sees them as ants: Expendable and valueless.
The store manager at this place was known for twisting the old-timers until they quit so that the store didn't have to pay out their huge retirement accruals. Cutting their hours, eliminating their positions, making them work understaffed. Even so far as fabricating issues with which to issue write ups to get them fired. I'm talking getting write ups for a call-in from six months prior.
Tim Poole wears a beanie to pretend to be younger. Peter Pan.
Also, his entire livelihood depends on showing you fake news media. He is probably paid directly by all the corporate propaganda outlets that he uses as material.
Tim decided to stop being a journalist and become a news reader. He had no problems criticizing others from his comfort zone. In his irrational world having a pedo-promoter on your live stream is less risky than having Alex Jones on your show - guess what? That's what we are fighting against - Tim just capitulates - constantly. A surrender monkey who occasionally flings his poop before accepting the big banana as a reward.
Tim's not a bad guy, but he doesn't bring a lot of value to us as a news reader - he's not intellectually blessed in the area of analysis - and if you are going to cover fake news as your career you need to be able to dig into the facts, effectively communicate them and actually be brave.
Tim skims the surface of things and is decidedly not 'brave" - he's scared, has admitted as much and has fled to the mountains because of his fear.
Hey, sometimes you don't get to choose who you end up with in your foxhole, but in the times to come everyone will likely have the opportunity to show what type of people we are. Tim included.
1.) Enough of this. Who cares about the freaking Beanie? Who cares if he's bald? My grandfather wore a hat because he disliked his own balding head. People are allowed to not like their own bald heads.
2.) Tim Pool has said, repeatedly, that his entire thing is reading the news, and telling you what he thinks about it. He's said that he, like the majority of all conservative news outlets, does COMMENTARY.
3.) That's your belief, but there's no reason to think that.

I sure miss Sam Walton.

He wears a beanie to hide his bald head, not to appear younger. He's like 34 I think
