The Fine Bros weren't really licensing it, more like they were trying to copyright the concept of reacting entirely. It was really an extortion racket under the most childlike of pretenses. Crowder on the other hand could set up Change My Mind as a small business, promote creators, and help set up shop at any college campus imaginable. So maybe "license" is the wrong word. Employ or contract could be better.
Probably right. I tried to join but they didn't really do anything. Never even ended up going to a single meet up. I would have loved to have met some other based people.
College Republican meetups in my experience are basically a bunch of dorks in khakis meandering around wondering whose responsibility it was to order food. What needs to happen is a dedicated College Shitposters group where everybody comes in Pepe Hats and there's just like a gigantic bowl filled with different kinds of Doritos, plenty of 2-liters, and somebody shows up with a massive number of chicken wings and ranch dip.
I’m aware VAT is a tax, but it’s basically a consumption tax. Buy more, pay more. A truly “equal” tax scheme.
A governments role is two fold: Sovereignty and Security.
Sovereignty of a territory to pass, apply, and enforce law and order independently of other sovereign nations, as well as establish and control a border. (Fuck the commies, this is our country)
Security to enforce those borders, protect the citizenry from foreign and domestic threats, protect natural and human rights, and the ability to wage war in the defense of its sovereignty.
"If we abolish slavery, how will we pick the cotton?" Fast forward today where we have the current digital world.
Taxation is a moral issue. The consequences should never be a concern. The contrast above with the digital world we now live in is a great example of:
We can't predict the future (they'd never have imagined what we have today)
Freedom ALWAYS leads to better outcomes through innovation via the free market. If there is a demand for security, it will be filled. And it will be more cost effective.
I'm pretty sure they had a way to pick cotton without slaves back then. It was just expensive.
The free market exists only within a society that enforces that freedom. At the minimum, that means protection from external threats (i.e. a military), and protection from internal threats (i.e. the justice system). A government must exist in order to provide these things, and it obtains the resources to do so via taxation. While the free market is good, it's not a panacea. Some things, the free market is not meant to do.
Hey frens, if you want to have some real fun on your college campus, download some of these signs at the link below, print them out, and post them on campus (pin them on bulletin boards in hallways, hang them in empty classrooms while no one's watching, hang them in your dorm, tape them to trash cans or on the sidewalk, tape them on the door of bathroom stalls, use your imagination and be creative!)
There are Pro-Trump, theDonald.win, Stop the Steal, Anti-Voter Fraud, Anti-Fake News, and more designs for signs. Send me suggestions and I will make custom signs for you.
If you have a car, put them in your vehicle's windows with masking tape and turn your ride into a MOBILE BILLBOARD OF TRUTH!
You can help educate fellow students, educate the public, and wake up people by bypassing the media and classroom indoctrination with RAMPANT REDPILLS ON CAMPUS! Also make the liberal teachers and students go REEEEEEEEE!
(Image links for the signs are in the comments in the thread linked below)
I'll change your mind: taxation isn't theft. Taxation is rape. Your money is earned through your labor using your body. Therefore your money is your body. Taxation is the state raping your body.
Right, but... if we're trying to get people to be personally responsible, and they're all people, so lets say 30% won't be.. then how do we make them be responsible? Force them to contribute. I've never heard a great argument for "taxation is theft" when it is a small group of people.. if it is a country, the taxation is theft makes more sense to me.. kindof... .. but yeah, back to the point: if it stems from one person or a family (which is where we create our systems from, no?) . . . like if they don't work on the micro, then how would they work on the macro.. and it seems to me to work on the micro, so it should work in the larger system..
We need more Change My Mind booths. Crowder should license it and host the videos in exchange.
Thank you for attending my ChangeMyMindx talk
Eh, do you remember the blowback on the Fine Brothers when they tried to license react videos? I say just tell people to do them and not license.

I see what you're saying. Yeah it would be interesting. You'd think that the college Republicans could just do that, but...
College Republicans are a branch of the Boomer Republicans change my mind.

I'm down, let's go
Tariffs and VAT.

Everything else is overreach.

Taxation is NOT theft!
It's extortion.
Listen, just because I am forced to hand over 100% of everything I produce every Monday doesn't mean that a 20% income tax is slavery.
Oh, you said theft? Well slavery is a form of theft.
TAXATION IS THEFT!

Is it theft if we all agree to it?
I don't agree so that notion can fuck right off.
