It seems like it was in another lifetime, so long ago......I had a brief online conversation with a person on another platform during the 2016 campaign. I said I was going to take a chance on something different and vote for Trump, they said they felt that hillary was a safer choice, she had political experience. I said something about saving the country, and the response was--"You really think this is a battle between good and evil?" And I said yes, I do.
We wished each other luck, agreed to 'peace out' and that was the end of the last calm, non-adversarial normal political conversation I had with someone on the dem side.
And here we are today. The great silencing of dissent leads to hell on earth.

Yup....that reality hit my wife this week. Her sisters are both dems and have been constantly atacking my wife for the last few social media posts my wife put up. They are completely self righteous and refuse to even listen to a single talking point. My wife is very upset that her relationship with her sisters has been reduced to holiday texts from now on.
Start building relationships with other based families. I had a rough time leaving behind shitty people in my life, because I had known them for so long and I was afraid of not having support. Then it clicked that they didnt have my back anyway. Fast forward, now I've got a small circle of people who share similar values and have each others back. That's my family now, blood or no blood.
My wife is still on communist book, and found out yesterday that my sister in law deleted her on there. I told her not to worry about it. My brother and sister in law still believe in CNN. smh

It is designed that way by the Constitution. OBAMA should have been impeached multiple times for his abuse of power. If Trump does anything that Obama did we would be impeached..
The power of the executive branch is enormous and extensive - the problem is that most of that power gets delegated to unelected officials who, for the most part, are 100% aligned with the Deep State. So long as that situation remains the executive branch and its agencies will continue to serve the swamp’s interest regardless of who is in office. That’s why “draining the swamp” is so important, and it pains me to say that we haven’t done as good of a job draining it as we need to yet. The recent firings at the DoD and CISA were all great but this should have been done years ago, and now the President and the rest of us are paying the price for allowing too many snakes to continue holding the levers of power.
The lack of swamp to prison over the last 4 years is the elephant in the room. I'm sure Trump would have wanted it differently...but fucking hell! What gives?
