Welcome to the party pal. The current line of thought is to show the world you dont care about anyone but yourself. But i say in reply........why should i?
My point is that we are no longer in the realm of victim shaming/blaming. We are now in the realm of no one cares enough about the rest of the world, and because of that, they should be excluded, or removed from society. Virtue signaling nazism. "You should wear the mas to protect me".
Victim shamimg/blaming; there is a rapist lurking in the dark alleys of the cities. Common sense dictates that persons of the persuasion that the rapist seems to target would avoid the alleys, and other potential areas, as well as try to appear as though they are not in the target category. Yet one person says fuckit, and goes on being who they are, and continues to use the alleys. That person then gets raped. Is it the victims fault? The argument could be made that yes, it is partially that persons fault for not taking precautions to avaoid the potential scenario that led to the victimization. I do not agree with this, for the record. In reality, it is not thvictims fault in anyway shape or form. To allow, that arguement to succed, would also allow the idea that if the intended victim had defended themselves, and killed the rapist, it is also now partially the victims fault that a person has lost their life. When in reality, it is always the criminals fault.
Now to the arguement at hand; the very existence of a virus (i believe it is real, just way overblown) takes out the idea of a perpetrator of a criminal act, where mankind is naturally predisposed to assigning blame (the average layman, anyway). So, now we are seeing that people are dying, it's being hyped by the media that there should be blame (a totally irrational idea in and of itself when speaking of disease/sickness, especially when taking the statistics of the vulnerable into account, i.e. average flu victim). And the average joe/jane need a person held reponsible, to make them feel that they can control the dark alleyway of sickness and disease. The easiest target is always one other than oneself. So they are told to wear masks, and that everyone should, to protect others, not themselves. "Everyone else should protect me". It takes the responsibility, and the potential blame out of the victims hands, and puts it on everyone else. No self accountability. No guilt. No shame. Feels good right. Now you must protect others. You are now superman to them, and you will be blamed for Lex Luthor's (the virus) evil plan (sickness) at times and places you cannot be because of the laws of physics do not allow you to be everywhere at once. It is your fault superman, that grandma died of covid, in a nursing home you have never been to, because you got me sick. You should be punished.
Honk honk. Welcome to the new reality, we have such wonders to show you. Just writing this shit makes me sick. For the record. I love everyone. Not on a personal level. That is impossible,, but i have compassion, even for the lost. But i wont play a part in this madness, and what will be, will be. I can only do what i can to take care of mine. I will do what i am able to care for this country, but i will not wear a muzzle. It isnt my fault that a virus that is literally exactly what the regular seasonal flu is, is hitting this country. And i will not listen to some "doctor", i use that term loosely in this case, who is a paid rep for an out of control political machine/government, when he himself coauthored a peer reviewed paper on the deaths by bacterial pneumonia due to wearing masks between 1918 and 1919 in this very country, stating the masks were the biggest contributor over all to "flu deaths" that year, and that had many people not worn masks, they likely wouldn't have died.
I've decided I'm ok with not doing business wuth them. I go almost everywhere without a mask and never hear anything about it. I will where a mask in a drug store and a medical facility. Other than those places people have a choice whether to be there or not. It's not my responsibility to cater to others wants.
They haven’t fucked with me much yet. It’s amazing how many people are on this site in Texas yet I still hardly see anyone but me without a mask.
We are all afraid of looking bad and we want to be nice. Dark Winter is coming because everyone wearing masks in the cold touching their faces and allowing those masks to get saturated with their germs. No heat is going to be around to save their asses from wearing a mask all day.
Look what is going on around us. They realized violence and intimidation works. So that's where we are going as a country now.
If we can save just one life... Unless they don't wear a mask, fuck those guys /s

I no longer wish to pay to see artists who hate me and my Harley gives zero fucks about COVID. I do not have to use their products
